My throat doesn't hurt much and I feel fine. I've had a horrible cough for like two weeks now and the little irritation I do have is from all the coughing. Other than the cough I have felt completely fine. After downing 2 full bottles of Robitussin and various other cold meds I went to Redimed on Friday (Dec 21) since there was no way I'd be able to see my doc until after Christmas and they gave me some cough syrup which did jack shit. I was finally able to see my doctor this past Thursday and he gave me some wicked awesome cough syrup and I thought it was helping...until yesterday.

Yesterday I woke up and could barely talk. My voice would go from a deep throat growl to a whisper. As yesterday went on my voice got a little better (lucky for me since I had to work) and I was talking relatively normal last night.

Today I have to struggle to make any noise above a whisper. I've been up for almost 4 hours and there has been zero improvement in my voice.

At least I have today off...but I have to work tomorrow morning.

So yeah...my voice is totally fucked. I have to struggle to make anything above a whisper. And wouldn't you know it - the doctor's office is closed until Wednesday. Lucky me.
