Did they add an eyepatch to the eagle in the SHIELD symbol?
Or has it been there the whole time and I never noticed.

It probably has something to do with the rumored appearance in the post-credit scene on Tuesday's episode.Tom Foolery wrote:Did they add an eyepatch to the eagle in the SHIELD symbol?

How does a "post-credit" sequence work on Network TV? Because every credits I've seen on TV for the last decade is run across the bottom inch of the screen fast forwarded in tiny letters while they're pimping whatever's on next and also who's going to be on the Today show in the morning or who's on Letterman later tonight.

except when you have 16 million viewers on the premiere episode...Tom Foolery wrote:How does a "post-credit" sequence work on Network TV? ^ you're undoubtedly referring to the inflatable raft? there's also no way it would be necessary at that point, as the air pressure would have equalized within about 20 seconds of the breach. the initial blast and air pressure release would have created the hoover effect, but that quickly would have dissipated.
i'm already considering that the reveal for season 2 is that coulson was ALWAYS an LMD or robot of some sort.

I stated on CBR, I'm going to have to start watching this show as if it's satire. It's a lie I will tell myself so I can enjoy the show and not rage at its immaturity. Because clearly I am not in the writers' target audience: eight year olds.

Marvel Studios Developing 4 New TV Shows & A Miniseries
Agent Carter is probably one.
Hoping for Punisher (obviously) and Heroes for Hire, both of which could be done fairly cheap because would require minimal special effects.

i didn't realize marvel had reacquired 'blade' and 'the punisher' as well as 'daredevil'. nice! i'm betting the judge who sent him to jail for tax avoision wasn't a fan of the movies and knew how long the timeframe was for the rights to revert.

The reversion of the FF rights are also creeping steadily closer. Fox is supposedly working on a reboot, but it sounds awful.

They just announced the four series as Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage.Diabolical wrote:Marvel Studios Developing 4 New TV Shows & A Miniseries

From what I can tell, each with get their own series of 13 episodes and it will culminate in a mini-series "Event" called The Defenders (so I guess Dr. Strange, Hulk, Silver Surfer, and Namor will have to shop around for a new name when their Avengers-type team up movie hits in 2020?)
This looks to be a gritty street level NYC group of shows. I can't see Frank Castle not being in one or more of the series as a recurring character. How fucking awesome would it be if Thomas Jane came back to play Frank on TV?

Netflix? Fuck. I'm all for streaming, but I fucking hate the way mainstream entertainment is becoming so fragmented and proprietary. We bitch about the "premium" cable channels making toy subscribe just to watch one or two shows, and this is THE SAME FUCKING THING! Offer it free on Netflix and charge everyone else a buck an episode or something. I don't want 50 services all with different exclusive deals.
