My kids like Teen Titans Go!

I thought I hated it, but watched a few episodes with them.

Holy shit, this show is hysterical. Just don't expect any continuity, or anything related to any other version of the characters. It's just a mix of slapstick nonsense and clever spoofing of DC Comics and pop culture in general.

One episode is entirely the team in old video games kids wouldn't recognize (Zelda, Spy Hunter, Frogger). Another spoofs the various Robins. And another is one of the best slams on the Wonder Twins ever.

Trust me. Watch it with an open mind.

I was just flipping through the guide on our TV. Cartoon Network is playing several 15 minute episodes back to back. No big deal, right? Well, except for that "Teen Titans Go!" doesn't fit in the little 15 minute box, so it was "Teen Tit..."

Twenty-five years ago today, we met Batman for the first time.

Oh, we thought we'd seen Batman. Movies, TV shows, likely a few hundred comics among us even at that young age.

But we learned on that fateful day, as "The Cat and the Claw, Part 1" aired for the first time, that he is vengeance. He is the night. He. Is. Batman!

Happy 25th, B:TAS. You don't look a day over absolutely incredible.

Batman:Caped Crusader.

From Bruce Timm, it’s a TAS style series set in the actual 30s with a Golden Age style Batman. Gender swapped Penguin, etc.

Warner Bros commissioned the series, then their idiot CEO David Zaslav decided he hates money, so he cancelled it and farmed it out. Amazon Prime, who love money, aired it.

Only watched one episode, but it’s a solid start.

This pic made me breathe harder than an image of two dudes should ever make a straight dude breathe. I was a bit more coy on FB, but I understand a friend of a friend working on the show tweeted (Is that still the word? Yes. Because fuck Elon.) the cover of GL V2 #5, which is the arc that immediately came to my mind seeing this image. Which is a shock because Gerard Jones, sick fucking pedophile, but it is also one of the best GL stories ever.
