yes.
Is that just for the Romita artwork?
no.
I love Romita, but everything I've seen about that book looks like it's an excuse for Millar to do all the ridiculously overblown violence he's not usually able to get away with, all in the name of realism.
no, he already got to do that with "wanted". which was fuckin' awesome - c'mon, a world where the superheroes lost and the supervillains rule? with a bizarro analogue named "fuckwit" to boot??? that's pure GOLD!
I've not read much Millar, but what I have read leaves me firmly in the category of "not a fan."
really??? i'm surprised... i'm not reading his FF because i'm luke-warm to them, and i need to budget myself a little bit at least, but ultimates 1 and 2 were great (3, um... not so much... because he didn't write it), superman: red son was cool, chosen was funny (in a similar manner to preacher, same type of thing...) marvel knights spider-man was freakin' sweet, his ultimate FF was really good, wanted kicked ass, kick-ass kicks ass... of all his recent (last 5 or 6 years or so...) i'd say civil war was his only real flop (in terms of writing) and that was because it was editorial dictate. i'm sure he barely wrote it. perhaps he only wrote the dialog at most.
he's best unfettered. left to his own devices, he comes up with some of the CRAZIEST shit this side of grant morrison.
