Forgot New Avengers 37. Haven't read it yet, but I heard there's a butt sex between Wolverine and Spidey. That gives me wood.

Picked up a few from the past week or two:

Wolvergins #20 - End of the dumbass Cap and Bucky story. If the next arc sucks, I'm done. It may not since Deadpool is in it, but I haven't read anything with Deadpool in years so I have no clue if Marvel screwed him up too.

The Boys #13
- More sick, twisted humor from Ennis. I'll have to sit and reread this arc after next month. It seems a bit intricate for just a casual read.

"Punisher" War Journal #14 - More of the new Kraven bullshit. This one was close to being left on the shelf.

Zombies vs. Robots vs. Amazons #1 - How can you not love a comic with that title? A sequel to Zombies vs. Robots, where the robots dropped nukes and killed every zombie and destroyed every robot - almost. A few zombies survived and attack a hidden group of lezbo Amazons until a robot saves their asses. Then a zombie minotaur shows up.

Heroes Volume 1 - The Graphic Novel reprinting all the web comics. I read anout the the first quarter. Good stuff that fits between episodes.

Fuck you Grimlock...

From last week:

The Punisher #53 - As suspected, what looked like happened at the end of the last issue didn't happen. Frank has a nice way of torture that involves jumper cables, a car battery, testicles, and 1 hour. Then the shit really hits the fan.

Amazing Spider-man #545 - One More Day part 4. No surprise as to what happens here. The epilogue is where the future could get interesting, but I hope it fails big time just to fuck Joe Quesadilla over.

Daredevil #103 - How is it that in every issue there really isn't a lot going on but the plot still moves forward so well?

ASM 545 - I liked it. Mephisto is a sumbitch, no doubts there. Great art, well paced story.... I was left looking forward to what'll happen next.
Cap 33 - I liked it. Red Skull is a sumbitch, no doubts there. Great art, well paced story.... I was left looking forward to what'll happen next.
I haven't read the rest: DD 103, Thor 5, Giant Avengers 1, X-Men: Emperor Vulcan 4

more happens in this book than does in new avengers while it hangs out at the next street corner waiting for mighty avengers to fuckin' catch up... that cho can draw some pretty pitures but DAMN it takes a long time...

Best pics in the business - at least for me right now. I look SO forward to Mighty, and it's been taking SO long. I guess 7 is out here shortly (call it next week, alongside the first of 3 ASM issues slated for January!).

I don't even read comics but an army of Venoms on the loose is pretty bad ass. Why didn't they do this before?

because david michelinie, the writer credited with creating venom, wrote a story where it was established that symbiotes only had 6 seeds to spawn offspring with, and he used all of them up in the mini series "venom: lethal protector" after carnage was already created.

Mighty Avengers 7
Uncanny 494 - the countdown is on. Unless things DRASTICALLY FUCKING IMPROVE, I'm dropping this at #500 - the series that made me care about comics and that I've collected every issue of in the modern era. You heard it here first.
Hulk 1.

I'm assuming you all left off the latest issue of Onslaught Reborn by mistake, right? It would take a real douchebag to pass up that sort of greatness.

BPRD 1946 #1
lobster johnson: the iron prometheus #5
mighty avengers #7
ghost rider #19
ultimate human #1
amazing spider-man #546 (regular and 1 in 20 hitch variant)

the missus actually picked them up for me, and sprung for the variant of 546. since it wasn't a 50/50 distribution they had jacked up the price to $10, even though they hate to do that there. but the ratio kinda forced their hand. and at $3.99 cover price, it's not even that much of an increase. if i were by myself or with her, i might not have gone for it, but that's why my wife is awesome.

somehow i missed
spider-man: with great power... #1
and
amazing spider-girl #16

unless those were delayed for some reason... EDIT: they were. updated over at the spidey database.

Astonishing X-Men #24 - Pretty big let down for a finale, but still an entertaining read. Granted we still have the Giant Size coming eventually, but they should have wrapped up this story here. I almost forgot most of what happened in the last issue though, so I'm going to have to go back and read the arc again in one sitting.

The Punisher #54 - Good violent, bloody wrap-up to The Long Cold Dark storyline, with one loose end that'll probably be addressed in the next arc - who gave Barracuda the info about Frank?
