Halo : The Movie

So Halo the movie, slated for 2008....on IMDB they had a cool link to a short made by Neill Blomkamp who is slated to direct Halo.

It's on Google video....

Seems like Halo should be interesting if this short is any sign as to what this guy could do.

What studios don't realize is that they need to do these movies at the height of the media's popularity, not five years from now, when the next game is all the rage and people are like

"Oh...HALO...yeah..i used to play that on that old system..XBox? I think it was called? Nah...i don't think I'll go see it. Looks lame."

Like Doom and the upcoming Spyhunter? Yes, that Spyhunter. I saw a review for the game based on the movie based on the game. They said it sucks. I'm sure it is coincidence that they both star The Rock. I watched about 10 minutes of Doom on HBO a couple weeks ago. I wasn't that impressed.

Doom was exactly the movie I was thinking of. Maybe Mario Bros.

Spyhunter? Man, that is so old school, it's almost vintage. Why not do a Q-Bert movie while you're at it? Also starring the Rock.

There were a couple versions of Spyhunter done for the modern consoles. I played one of them on PS2. Wasn't bad, wasn't great. It filled the "I really have to blow something up" need.

I'm glad Halo is cancelled.

The games all suck and the movie would've too.
