My Little...

Post by Eternal Padawan »

Benjamin got these two cardboard early reader books for his birthday and I guess i was tired reading them oneday, but they took on a whole innuendous overtone and now everytime i read them i cant stop giggling. The first one is

My Little Toolbox

Teddy Bear Benjamin has a workshop.
He has lots of things to fix today.

He has a shiny new toolbox.
Can you see what is inside?

He bangs with his hammer.
Be careful not to hit your fingers,
teddy bear Benjamin!

"where is my wrench?"
asks Benjamin.
Can you help him find it?

He turns the wrench around.
Make the bolt tight,
teddy bear Benjamin!

"I need my saw to cut this wood,"
says teddy bear Benjamin.
Pull, push, pull, push.

Sawing is hard work. Teddy bear
Benjamin sits down for a rest,
then,,,bump! his chair breaks!

"I need my screwdriver to fix
this," he says. He finds it
at the bottom of his toolbox.

He tightens all the screws on his
chair. "I don't want to fall off it
again!" he says.

Teddy bear benjamin has one tool
left in his toolbox. "It is the noisiest
one of all," he says.
Can you see what it is?

(pack page)
Help Teddy Bear Benjamin to get busy
with all the shiny tools in his toolbox.

It's almost like The Pornicus - except not done on purpose. Makes one wonder if some of these kids book "creators" are up to highjinks and shenanigans.
