Is it new material or reprinting Future Imperfect?

Redid my X-Men because I'm home on vacation & that's what I do, apparently. Still 8 boxes worth, but they seem to be a bit more evenly distributed in the boxes & more cohesive in terms of the titles therein (refresher - I had done chronological with everything from all titles up to inferno, then up to aoa, etc).

1 Uncanny 150-375
2 Uncanny 376-544, annuals (missing more than I like actually, I just noticed this today) & X-Men Unlimited 1-50
3 X-Men 1-250 & annuals
4 New Mutants, X-Force, Cable, X-Man, Generation X (I don't have full runs here, not even close actually except for New Mutants)
5 X-Factor & Excalibur, plus Astonishing & Ex-Treme X-Men (because I don't have full runs here other than Astonishing volume 1 & it all fit nicely)
6 X-Related limited series & specials
7 Wolverine volume 1 & Marvel Comics Presents
8 Wolverine volume 2 & forward, Wolverine Limited Series & Specials, plus X-Men specials & limited series I couldn't fit into box 6.

I still have Uncanny volumes 2 & 3 ending with 600 back in Regina as well as "All-New" volume 1 & about 50 issues of various Wolverine titles that I'll try to slide into these boxes once everything is back together again. My X-Men story ends at 600 & Wolverine at Death of Wolverine which is convenient, as they both dovetailed nicely into Hickman's Secret Wars, where I'm trying to end my floppy collection anyhow.

I'm happier with this I think & hopefully I won't toss & turn thinking about doing it differently yet again for a little while.

It is the Prequel to FI. A five issue mini telling the story of how he went from being the Hulk to becoming Maestro. It’s written by Peter David.

Oooh that's actually interesting to me. But fuck new comics. I'll see if I remember to catch a trade of it down the road.

I'm still blown away by the ending to FI, where Hulk kills Maestro by creating... himself. Peter David is a damned treasure.

Here’s a link with all the Marvel Legacy Lenticular Covers with both the issue and the homage issue. I don’t count the Quesada issue because it’s “Homaging” itself.

https://legacycomics.com/2018/01/marvel ... n-presale/

I still need (I think)
Thanos
She-Hulk
Secret Warriors
Punisher
Moon Girl/Devil Dinosaur
Dr Strange
Daredevil
Captain America
ASM:Renew Your Vows
X-Men Blue
X-Men Gold
USAvengers
Spider-Gwen
Royals
Monsters Unleashed
Jean Grey
Iron Man
Hulk
Iceman
Champions
Avengers
America
Astonishing X-Men
BlackBolt
Marvel 2 in 1
Squirrel Girl
Weapon X

I had been putting them with their respective series, but I think if I’m gonna track them all down, they’re gonna go with the “Marvel Legacy” oneshot and just all be in the “M” box with the other “Marvel” titles.

I had most of them & have let them almost all of them go. It was a great idea but the execution was a little lacking - in many of the cases both covers were visible full time, no matter which angle you looked from. If I could only pick these or the regular covers with the updated value stamps, I think I'd have preferred the value stamps.

This was the squirrel girl cover that flipped images with the Moebius Surfer 1 cover, just as an example. Tons of classic Marvel covers were used. It dovetailed with the mass re-re-numbering from a bunch of new #1s to the old legacy numbers leading mainly up to Spider-Man 800.

The only one I think I’ll have to write off as unobtainable is the Thanos issue. Only because it’s the 1st app of Cosmic Ghost Rider and goes for stupid high prices, not because it’s the variant issue. In fact, comic book realm has the regular cover going for $100 and the Lenticular only at $10 but I doubt that’s accurate.
Basically they’re cover price or less if I keep my eyes open.
It’ll just be harder to find the ones from books that weren’t selling high to begin with because the initial order on those covers would’ve been commiserate with the already low orders.
They’re not worth more, there’s just physically less of them in existence for me to stumble across.

I know you'll keep your eyes open, but I found more than one place blowing them out after the dust from the event had settled. Going "all in" on these didn't pay off for many of the stores that did I don't think.

And that thing about the Thanos book is true to a degree - I sold both of mine & the regular cover with the value stamp did get significantly more interest than the lenticular one (even though the lenticular one was bloody amazing conceptually - it flipped with Secret Wars 12!!!).

Found 17 more Lenticular covers. Since I bought so many, the guy did me a solid. I paid less than $2.50 for each one.

I’m only missing 10 now.

Thanos
Secret Warriors
Punisher
Moon Girl/Devil Dinosaur
Dr Strange
Daredevil
ASM:Renew Your Vows
X-Men Gold
Royals
Squirrel Girl

That's the right price. Good luck on the hunt. Side note - I just read the Moebius surfer story for the first time (Squirrel Girl flips with the cover of the first issue) and it was pretty good.
