That's the amazing thing about bin Laden. He's allegedly been hiding in a cave for 8 years, but he has kidney problems and needs dialysis. I saw an article a month or so ago that speculated that he might be dead. He hasn't made any tapes in quite some time and the last couple he made that surfaced contained generalizations rather than specific events.

thing about tyrants and maniacal assclowns is they're the ones who fucking cling to life longest while the good die young. look at robert mugabe, dude should be dead but he keeps on keeping on. popes, russian leaders, cuban dictators, chinese overlords... they all have this knack of surviving far longer than nature tells us they should.

Bin Laden might be holed up somewhere but he has money and influence. I doubt he's in some cave. it's more likely he's being sheltered by friends with money and influence. hell he could even be shacked up with someone like kim jong il. which is a scary thought but very possible.

Funny how that works out. I don't know if you see it, but every year it the media here likes to bring up how many U.S. Presidents Castro has outlived. Then there was Sadaam Hussein, who urged his people to fight to the death while he hid in a hole with a load of cash.
