They'd better continue or at least finish the fucking cartoon!
I got the DVD last week and was watching it, and was reminded of how incredibly fucking awesome it was.

I don't know that I would rebuy all the MOTU figures if it was a reboot. If they are close enough in scale and design to the old (new) figures, I might buy some of the secondary characters like Webstor and Jujitsu.
"Say Jim! Whoo! That is a bad outfit! Whoooo!" -- Pimp, Superman The Movie "You're an idiot, Starscream." -- Megatron, Transformers:The Movie
I have no idea why, but I'm envisioning a total rescaling of these figures down to the 4" size (as a cost saving measure) - fucking EVERYONE's collections up and killing the line before it even gets started.
Mattel wouldn't do that, though.... right? I didn't buy a big bunch of these last time, and I have no intention of buying any this time.... but I'd be PISSED if they didn't stay on the same scale/detail level they were using the last time this line was available. As a matter of fact, if I was heading this line at I'd be very inclined to re-release a few of the more basic & desirable figures from last time to try and encourage people to collect them. They were pretty good figures.
Well, I got King Greyskull at SDCC, but after seeing some of the proposed figures in the line, I have decided to pass on getting these. They are $20 a pop plus shipping at mattycollector.com and Mattel isn't making any of the figures like the 2002 line and subsequent staction figure releases. If they DID go back and make the staction figures as articulated figures in this line, I would reconsider. But other than that, no dice.
Those Greyskulls are going for big bucks. I am considering buying a shitload of exclusives next year, and scalping them to pay for next years trip. Honestly, after seeing some dumbasses paying HUNDREDS for a Greyskull, I regret not investing the extra $70 to buy a couple more.
