The 'View Active Topics' button doesn't seem to work.

how so? like, are you getting an error message, or just that there are 0 showing up (i'm getting the latter).

i just upgraded the forum to the latest version this morning because i got an email from my host saying there were an inordinate amount of emails being sent from the board (to all the spamborgs trying to gain access). i might have to just close registration completely.

It is also the latter for me.

i did a search on this issue and it appears the upgrade set the 'Enable Active Topics' option to 'no' for all fora

it didn't seem to affect the 'active topics' page immediately, but i'm hoping once i post this, this topic will show up there.

EDIT: nope, it didn't show up. back to the drawing board...
