Man, Sideshow is stupid
So I ordered the 12" Asajj Ventress ages ago. Seriously, the fucker's been delayed so many goddamned times, it was almost a year ago.
I got an e-mail a few days ago that they were finally processing. And I look at the order. Oops. In the FUCKING YEAR since I placed the order, my credit card expired. (Who knew it'd take them a year to produce a figure they already had pictures of and who was supposed to ship in THREE MONTHS?) However, the e-mail says specifically not to change any order in process on their website. But doesn't provide any info as to how to give them the right information.
So this morning, I get this nasty e-mail that my card was declined. No fucking shit. You take six months longer than expected to send a product, and there's this crazy little chance that people may use a card that expires in that extra six months they weren't planning on. Best of all, it says, "However, your credit card has declined either due to insufficient funds, an incorrect expiration date, or an invalid credit card number." (Love how they can't give any specifics here.) And it goes on to say, "If we do not hear back from you within THREE TO FIVE DAYS FROM THE DATE OF THIS CORRESPONDENCE, then your order will be cancelled." Three to five, huh? I like the specific deadline there.
Thing is, given the rest of these figures and how disappointing they've been once I got 'em, I'm wondering whether I care to call and give them the updated info.
