V there has got to be about as "actionfigureable" character as any in movie history. Nicely done by NECA.

i've got him on my desk, in the 7" version, and he looks awesome. the details on his costume are incredible. unfortunately, he suffers from some of NECA's most poorly-planned articulation. no elbows or knees. hinge and peg wrists and ankles. ball-joint head i believe. and that's about it. the knives are removable from the hooks on his belt, which is cool, and his hat can come off. it looks great, but doesn't move very much, basically.

Hmmmmm. I guess with NECA you're pretty much paying for plastic statues most of the time, is that fair to say? The Harry Potter figures look (from the pics, I don't have any) pretty limited as well. I guess as long as you have a look before you buy it and make an informed choice, it's all good.

Figures like this don't really lend themselves to playablility, so heavy articulation doesn't make that much of a difference to me.
Like every other figure I have, it'll sit on my shelf, look cool and collect dust.

they are, but in a more intelligently designed way. the articulation on sirius from the OotP line is limited, but what there is goes a LOOONG way. meanwhile, the "v" figure has less intelligent articulation, meaning that the articulation just negates other articulation - i forgot, he has cut thighs and cut calves - no ankle articulation. basically his legs turn in two places but doesn't actually create any posability.

understandable, and he does a good job of that. but the more articulation the more varied cool looking poses the figure can be in to look cool and collect dust

I finally tracked one of these down last week. Looks great with my other movie figs, Ash from Army of Darkness, King Leonidas, Cherry Darling, and my Harry Potter quartet.

Sadly the rest of my movie figs are in storage thousands of miles away...
