FF: Rise of the Silver Surfer

I went to Night At The Museum with the children today and saw the new FF trailer. Holy fucking shit, it was AWESOME!
The whole trailer is Johnny Storm flaming after a mysterious Silver Surfer through the skies and tunnels of New York. Fucking brilliant. the Surfer has some weird morphing power that lets him go through solid objects like skyscrapers and buses/subways. Chillingly weird and probably a distraction for purists, but when they closed up on his eyes as Johny was coming in for a smackdown it didn't matter. I got in line right there.
Hopefully this will be online soon, so you can watch it.

New Trailer is up. Johnny is the Super Skrull?!? Well, not really, but he has everyone's powers in that one shot. Too cool. Not too sure about Morpheus' voice coming out of the Silver Surfer. Would have expected a more "liquidy" voice if that makes sense. Frankie Raye is hot. Hotter than Jessica Alba who doesn't look so hot. This movie will definitely kick more ass than the first one.

looks really cool. i'm not even bothered by the 'fish on the surfer's voice - it seems a bit more mellow and even-toned than his basso profundo work in the matrix.

Too bad they couldn't have put the Surfer in a movie other than the FF sequel.

strangely, the same here. i enjoyed the first one for what it was, but it looks like they've got a bit more of a handle on the characters and the epic scale of what they face day-in and day-out.
that said, i thought the characterization of ben and johnny from the first one was spot-on.
did anyone pick up the extended version of FF that came out this past tuesday? i'm interested in picking it up, as i don't own the original version...

From a review I read, it is much better than the first.
But...expect to be let down by Galactus and the ending.

Is Doom in this movie? I could swear he flashes up on the commercial.
I liked the first one, this one looks pretty good also.
