Some thoughts, first on the Mojo Wave:
First, awesome to have Mojo, and in proper scale! He seems small for a gestalt, but he is too big for a regular Legends figure, so it works.
The X-Babies are cute pack-ins. I wouldn't have necessarily chosen them, but I want them all, even if it means buying variants I would normally not give a rat's ass about.
Luke Cage and Psylocke kick all sorts of ass to Timbuktu and back! I can display Cage with Iron Fist kicking Sabretooth's overrated ass, and when Marvel gets off their butts and makes a Jubilee, I can make a cool Madripoor scene with Logan, Psylocke, and Jubilee.
Longshot, meh. I'd take him because he's an X-Men character, but not too terribly excited about him. Of course, I said the same about Longshot knockoff Gambit, and he's still one of the best figures in the line.
Falcon is a dumb choice, but I'm sure most people would pick him over Cage. I always thought he was a douche.
Iron Man <b>again?</b> Goddammit, why don't they rename this line "Iron Man Legends"? Christ, how many fucking Tony Starks can we have?
Variants are unmasked Zemo, Iron Man, and Falcon. Definitely not the three I'd have picked. Cage could easily be repainted (with minor sculpt adjustments to the head, eliminating the 'fro) to be Cage in the 1990s. And a couple of pieces of armor could make a nifty ninja assassin Psylocke.
Now on to the Onslaught Wave. Let me get this comment immediately out of the way: <b>ONSLAUGHT??? WHAT THE FUCK???</b>
That story and character were the most insulting to readers and the Marvel Universe itself ever! Why this turd over Uatu, Fin Fang Foom, <b>anyone</b>? I'd take a giant Aunt May that transforms into a duck walks around and shits real diarrhea on your comic collection, spits in your food, and stomps your balls while you sleep over this. Were I to rank everything I want, an Onslaught figure would rank just slightly above blowing Snigtad while Doctor Douche assfucks me and Chuck Norris continually roundhouse kicks my balls.
Green Goblin with variant unmasked Norman: hells yeah!!
Pyro: excellent, though he seems to be missing some gear in this pic.
Loki: not a first choice for me, but definitely a Legend.
Blackheart: not a legend, and seems grossly undersized. Mephisto should've been made first.
Lady Deathstrike: very, very nice, aside from the fact that they spelled the name of the character wrong. (One word, dumbasses.)
Abomination: I understand this is a straight-up re-release of the Hulk Classics figure, with a body part. While my hatred for Onslaught cannot be understated, I want everyone else in this wave, so I'm going to have most of the giant douchebag anyway. It makes no sense to have all the pieces but one, no matter what a giant turd he is. I can always have one of my dozen or so Wolverines posed like he's shitting on Onslaught's head or something. But I don't relish buying the same damn figure again to get one piece. Way to go, <s>Hasbro</s> Toybiz.
