What a shock to the checking account. I found both Wave 11 and 12 in 72 hours. I too skipped on Thing and Logan. Putrid.

I can see why they recalled Scarlet Witch. Her torso joints are connected so goofily and disproportionate that she looks like an anorexic skank. Plus there's a fine red paint sprayed on her face so she looks like she was standing too close to a shotgun blast. Either that or she has rubella.

Vengeance is so-so. I only got him to have him. Nothing spectacular.

WonderMan is pretty cool. Nice figure and good joints. The Yellowjacket was a nice idea but not very well executed. He limits the poseability of Simon so I stuck him on Black Widow instead.

Ultron isn't the Ultron I wanted. I would have rather had a more classic looking version. I was kinda thinking about getting three of these ( or four) to make a cool "End of Avengers " set up, but know that I have one up close I'll pass.

Hulkbuster Iron Man. HUGE! Cool flip up helmet feature to reveal a sloshed Tony Stark inside. Having Him grapple with Hulk ( or Juggernaut or any other oversized titan from the series) looks awesome.

Taskmaster. If it weren't for his flimsy leg joints, this would have been the coolest of wave 11. Lots of cool accessories and stuff.

PS All the "vehicles" in this line suck, with the possible exeption of Logan's Harley. But since I didn't buy him I don't know. Vengeance's cycle doesn't transate well from the 2D comic page. And the rest are just made up crap.

Maestro. I still don't get why this guy got made before about a hundred other Marvel Characters. Was he planned for the Hulk Classics Line and maybe got shunted over? Nice and sturdy, but meh as far as characters go. The old version with the cracked Cap shield, Thor's busted Mjolnir and a bandolier of defeated helmets ( Iron Man, Ultron, and Kid Nova!) definitely had cooler accesories.

Sasquatch. Ohmigod. Huger than Huge. This thing is taller than Giant-Man. And it gives me hope that Guardian, Vindicator, and BOX!! are on their way. I think a Box ML would be freakin' sweet.

X-23. What is it with the chicks in these waves? And does she even qualify as a "legend"? She's been in less than a dozen issues...ever.

Bishop. This one LOOKS really good with a fine sculpt, but his poseability and ability to stand suck it. Did I mention that noone in this wave has holes in their feet? Way to drop the ball Hasbr...I mean ToyBiz. They also have no holes in their back, which leads to...

Iron Fist. i was totally gonna have him doing a classic Danny Rand flying side kick. Until I realized theres no way to put him on one of those clear plastic stands. Second best figure in the wave.

Wolverine. Although I am sick of the the umpteenth Wolvie taking the place of possible obscure figures, this is a very nice figure with good joints, sculpt and detail. Best figure of Wave 12

Apocalypse. Holy cow! Awesome! Not as awesome as the sentinel, but still a freakin sweet jumbo figure and way cooler than his stocky, pudgy counterpart from a few waves ago.

jjreason, my eyes are peeled for you. I came across the entire "Legendary Riders" set today. Well, almost the entire set. Oddly enough, there was only the variant version of Wonder Man.

I picked up the "young" variant of Logan. (One of my friends found me the old, Days of Future Past version about a week ago, but I don't have him yet.) And since I was getting everyone else, I gave in and picked up Ben. If it were anyone else but the ever-lovin' blue eyed favorite nephew of Aunt Petunia, it would've been an easy pass.

I too have found both waves in 72 hours. I'm missing "human" Wonder Man (don't care), unmasked gay Astonishing Wolvie (don't care), and bald Bishop (really don't care).

However, if anyone can find a red Iron Fist, I'll give a nut for it. Okay, I exaggerate, just to make that clear. But I'll be eternally grateful. I love Mr Fist, and want the crazy plant clone thing.

EP, was your Apocalypse missing a cable? Sasquatch included one, but Maestro did not. No one even has a space in the tray for another cable. He looks a bit off-balance with only one arm wired up.

BTW, Toybiz has a great scam. I hate the Wolvie duds from Astonishing, and would've passed on that and the useless X-Who? chick. Never been a Sasquatch fan, but the character is a great design and the figure rocks.

Sorry for the double post (don't Doom me, please, it seems legitimate), but I've done some digging. Fwooshnet.com, a Marvel collecting board I don't usually frequent, but that a friend has recommended, has some info. ToyBiz is aware of the missing arm tube and says to contact them for the missing part.

Of course, there's always the white Sasquatch (Wendigo) that supposedly exists but isn't listed on the back of the packaging. Something tells me with Maestro missing the cable, that Wendigo is going to even tougher to find (get two different characters and your missing piece).

Marvel owns its own fucking toy company!!!!! Or rather it's own toy company owns it. I don't know how the legality of it all works out but I'm just slightly befuddled at the whole concept. Fucking hell. Why do I even bother collecting toys? My hobby gets shit on every day by this kind of shit. Ass fucking Hasbro and their fucking sub standard plastic ass torpedoes.

That is the stupidest fucking thing I ever heard. A toy company selling rights of their toys to another toy company. Makes no fuckin sense what so ever.

Apparently Marvel owns a toy company, but not one that actually produces toys on a wide scale. They can make stuff like Marvel Selects, which cost a fucking arm and leg. But for widespread production and distribution at a reasonable price, they needed help and licensed out to another company that called itself ToyBiz International. I guess they realized ToyBiz International isn't doing the greatest job in some aspects, so they sold the rights to Hasbro.

ToyBiz (the division of Marvel) will still be choosing the characters and designing the sculpts. Hasbro will be producing and distributing them.

So this likely means:

1) Better distribution overall -- figures getting to more stores and in greater numbers.

2) A different plastic, though whether better or worse remains to be seen.

3) Fewer figures falling apart after being opened.

4) Better paint application.

5) Poorer choices as to case distribution.

6) An increase of at least $1 per figure. (Hasbro did have to pay through the nose to get the rights, and the fairly comparable GIJoe Sigma Six line costs a lot more than $7.)

I don't mind paying more per figure if we don't get another royal fuckup like the end of 2005 where three waves shipped at the same time and stores only got one case of each, to be followed up with more of the Sentinel series for some inexplicable reason.

I'm not sure if Hasbro will have any sort of veto power on ToyBiz's choices. If so, any hopes for more female figures are basically shot to hell because they can't get it through their skulls that adults like female figures.

Hopefully they won't pull the "90% of buyers are kids" shit with ML, or we're really fucked.

Yeah, I was going to chime in and say that ToyBiz was going to still be doing the figures, but the distribution would be handled by Hasbro. That's what I had read on the Canadian board somewhere.
