Why the fuck didn't they say "Ken Watanabe" from the get go?
As I mentioned in the recently watched thread, Godzilla kinda sucked. Ken Watanabe just looks concerned and spouts exposition the entire time – actually, I think every single line in the film was exposition. Bryan Cranston dies before Godzilla even shows up and lets his boring-ass kid (a barely-acting Aaron Taylor-Johnson) take over. They're the only two good actors in the whole thing and they're massively under-utilized. (Seriously, the two main military officials were hilariously awful.) Some no-name company did the effects, and it shows. Some of the action is well directed but every other element pretty much blows. Disappointing for sure.

They ought to remake Howard the Duck. Except stay truer to the source material this time. Extreme bonus points if they set it in the MCU.

If they do ever get around to making Goonies 2 would it be considered a remake of that old Nintendo game?

And now Shane Black plans to reboot Predator...

Predator came out when I was already an adult. I'm so fucking old I want to cry.

Why can't they just choose to continue to Predator instead?

They did back in 2010 with Predators, and it only made $52 million.

Just saw a commercial for "Into the Storm". Or was it Twister 2?

Predator came out in 1987. You were 15 or 16, clown.

I think Shane Black has recently said his Predator will be a continuation of the previous films. Not a reboot.

I would have guessed 89 or 90, surprised it was 87.

They'd better have Chris Tucker, Snoop Dogg, and Cedric the Entertainer (he's alive, right?) as the racist crows.

Since they just made live action Sleeping Beauty and Snow White movies, I expect Disney to make live action for all of their animated movies. They did the live action Jungle Book in 1994.

What's funny is that I just went to IMDB to figure out when they made the live action Jungle Book movie and found they are making a new one http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3040964/?ref_=nv_sr_2

It looks like it will be animated.

Jon Favreau is doing Jungle Book. I just saw on Facebook that they just cast a Mowgli, so it won't be 100% CG.

Was the earlier live action Jungle Book by Disney? I thought it was another company taking advantage of the story being public domain.
