The last two issues were "Batman and Red Robin #19" and "Batman and Red Hood #20."
According to wiki, future issues will be Batman and Batgirl, Batman and Catwoman, and Batman and Nightwing.

DC's keeping digital prices higher longer!

It's funny to see the fanboys arguing that the profit margin on digital isn't that much higher than print. Do they know how printing, shipping, storage, distribution, middlemen, etc work? Not to mention that a print run is finite to however many are printed; digital is, in theory, an infinite print run to make money from.

I tried pointing that out. To no avail.

I think they just want to believe the fiction, so they don't cry at night because they dropped $4 on an intangible nothing product. Which they don't technically even own. It's more like having a seasonal pass to the Louvre and you can go look at the Mona Lisa whenever you like.

The first issue of 'Superman Unchained' came out today. It's the new ongoing Superman book by Scott Snyder and Jim Lee. As far as I could tell, it's not oversized with any extra added value content.

It's $4.99

That's $5 for a 22 page comic.

Fuck you, DC. You fanny bandits.

my subscription to Louvreology only allows me to view a scan of the Mona Lisa on my iPad. i have to pay extra to get into the actual Louvre.

DC announced another ongoing: Superman/Wonder Woman.

We used to joke about every DC book being either a Superman or Batman book. But it looks now like we were Nostradamus.

So, Superman doesn't have red tights, kills people, and is banging Wonder Woman, with whom he shares a title.

I fucking hate DC Comics right now.

Just so I'm clear on this, Trinity War is just Civil War, except instead of Marvel characters in 2006, it's DC characters in 2013?

And then afterwards, the villains take over sort of like Marvel's Dark Reign banner in 2008, except it's called Forever Evil.

Just wanted to make sure DC was staying fresh and exciting with their New52. I'd hate to reread stuff I'd read 7 years ago.

I read a spoiler that Superman starts it off by killing Dr. Light.

Isn't that fucked up on more levels than anyone can count?

I was hoping that was in jest, but it doesn't surprise me. I guess that's what the people want now.

Part of me is livid. And part dejected. But most of me is apathetic since DC ceased to exist back in 2011. It was replaced by Bizarro DC, which I cannot muster a fuck about.

They're "allocating" the orders on all those lenticular covers. Despite the pre-order system which has been in place at Diamond for 40 years now, and has worked fine up until now, DC was "caught off guard" by the number of orders placed.

OR

Bob Harras wants the "scarcity" of the covers to artificially drive up the demand so they'll come across as "hot" issues for whatever dipshit backwards bullshit they lay on stockholders. It all sounds shady to me.
"What? You pre-ordered 100 copies? Fuck man, we only printed 60. We didn't think you'd want all 100. And we're only sending you 50. Geoff Johns needs the other 10. Hes got an eBay account and we are gonna clean up, yo! These bitches are going for $75 already! That's pure prof, brah!!"

Kevin Maguire was fired off Justice League 3000 before the first issue even got drawn.

In a totally unscientific calculation, experts say that pushes the number of creators driven away by DC into the triple digits. Diane Nelson has vowed "we will not quit until ALL of them are gone...

Looking at the latest solicits, it looks like Batman's Year Zero has blossomed into a full-on Event, and everybody from the Flash to Superman to Lantern John Stewart were involved in Bruce becoming Batman. Yay!!

And by yay, I mean "Christ on a cruise ship."

Justice League of Canada??

Honestly, I can't tell when DC is being serious, joking, or just trolling fans on the Internet anymore. It all comes across as exactly the same.
