Oh, that's going to help sales of the Samurai Jedi immensely.

I just posted this elsewhere, and am quoting it here in case JT deletes it (it is under the "Questions for Hasbro" thread).

Apologies to whoever brought up "this Secret Squirrel shit" here, as I co-opted it:
El Chuxter wrote:New question:

Okay, let's be blunt. Why is it that pretty much anything we ask for either goes on the back burner, or is deemed infeasible, and we get rainbow Clonetroopers and armies of poorly-made Tatooine Lukes instead? Why does Bossk need an umpteenth resculpt before we get Cliegg Lars or even Jabba the Hutt? What is so damned hard about giving us a frigging Cloud Car? Why do you make us buy two POS Droidekas (which no one bought the first two times) to get one shield, which will invariably have a huge line where the pieces snap together, instead of just making one simple Droideka that can fold up?

When you do make something cool, why does it have to be an impossible-to-get overpriced exclusive (McQuarrie CIV figures and pretty much all the BattlePacks), or a pack-in with a $30+ vehicle you've released several times before (Zev Senesca, dragonsnake)?

How do you consider a vote of 8% of readers of the biggest fanboy wank comic magazine out there, with a margin of only 2%, to be a "mandate" that we're interested in seeing Darth Fill-in-the-blank from every video game ever made?

Do you not understand that the whole point of a business is to make people happy, not give them fodder to go on message boards and complain how stupid you are?

Do you know how much we are laughing at you behind your backs? At least when we're not contemplating kicking you?

Do you realize how many hardcore collectors have already stopped collecting, or are on the verge?

And why is it so incredibly hard to answer our damned questions? You give us the forum to ask, so what's with all the Secret Squirrel crap? These are damned toys, not matters of national security.

Serious, JT. If you're willing to put it out there, I'm the first to vote for it.

Well, your question has 4 votes already.

I'm probably the one who used the "Secret Squirrel" expression over. We used the expression a lot when I was in the military.

I prefer "sheep", "crony", or "side kick" to follower.

Did you see the article on the main page elsewhere about Hasbro's CEO?
Another proposal, by a shareholder, would require the toy company's board of directors to publish a sustainability report, which would include Hasbro's policies on social, environmental and economic sustainability and the company's long-term sustainability plans. The board opposes the proposal, saying the company already is committed to producing environmentally responsible products and has reduced its use of twist ties and adhesive tape in its packaging and shipping cartons.
Funny. Hasbro's shareholders are looking for the long-term plans, as well.

I made a comment about the twist ties on the other site already.

I thought about starting the following on the other site, but I know it wouldn't go anywhere....

Is anyone else disappointed that Hasbro's 30th Anniversary line isn't more focused on ANH? As far as I can tell, there are 2 waves of figures, plus the Tantive IV & Tusken Raider battlepacks and a rumored Y-Wing exclusive. They are pumping out Order 66 2-packs, Comic book 2-packs, and tons of prequel battlepacks & vehicles. The Vintage figures are from ESB (anarky loves 'em.) So, pretty much noting special for the original SW film.

Not to be a knob (entirely), but the 3 comic 2 packs are all from ANH - not that it makes up for the lack of cool ANH stuff.

Why the FUCK would they re-release a vintage look TIE when they could have done a retro looking white large-winged model? Stupid.

I saw the new "Unleashed" today. Even a pack of Jawas couldn't get me to buy that shit.

Good point. I couldn't get past the screwed up colors to actually realize they are from ANH.

Out of curiosity, what was the last Star Wars toy you purchased that you were happy with? I'm asking all of you.

I must admit, I loved the Galactic Marine when I finally found him a couple of weeks ago.

I just wish all the toys could be on par with him.
