So did JLaw just tell them she's not wearing the blue body paint anymore?

I was reading thru the Trivia on imdb about the Deadpool movie and came across something that suggested DP is NOT part of the Fox/X-Men licensing agreement.
It said Artisan was working on a DP movie in 2000 and later on New Line(a subsidiary of WB) was working on it in 2004, before it went into turnaround and eventually Fox became interested in 2006ish.
Now, if DP was truly part of the original X-Men license, TWO other studios wouldn't have been working on a film.
Which makes me think that DP is a separate property that maybe doesn't fall under the shit deal Marvel has with Fox concerning Mutants.
But I can't find anything one way or the other.

Odd, considering the line has always been, "if its a mutant, then it's at Fox."

And his character already appeared in one of the Wolverine movies, if not both. That would certainly have to galvanize any claim they'd have to make to the rights.

Deadpool has smashed it's way into the record books. In addition to breaking pretty much every February record ever, it also clobbered American Sniper's biggest Winter Opening, the Matrix Reloaded's highest R-Rated opening, and holy shit 20th Century Fox's HIGHEST OPENING WEEKEND ever, previously held by Revenge of the Sith.
What?!?

It's the new fangled marketing. Adult trailers for the win.

Not being a PG-13 pussy for the win.

X-Men Apocalypse getting shitty reviews is potentially a win situation. Sony was disappointed with ASM2's meager $201M box office and ended up putting the franchise back in Marvel's creative hands, but Sony foots the bill.
FF is already poison to Fox, they're just riding that license out before they give it back. But if the new X-Men movie nosedives at the box office, Fox might look to a similar deal as Sony's and we can get all the Marvel movies in one kickass universe.

All I know is has that scene towards the end of the trailer where Olivia Munn comes out of the sky and slices a car in half looks really cheesy.

What's with that line about "forgetting what you know, you're not students anymore"?
