The only possible Easter egg I saw was the modified Republic Gun Ships used by the security force.

I forgot about that one.

The insignia looked like the Confederacy of Independent Systems. But that insignia also looks like the one the Imperial scientists wear in Rogue One, because the entire galaxy has only ever had two graphic designers. Based on his age and Maarva saying the Republic would be there soon (obviously implying the Republic is still around), I'm guessing CIS.
Thanks. The symbol looked familiar, but I couldn't remember why.

Not an Easter Egg, but the idea and apparent structure of the corporation basically ruling an area of space was likely inspired by the Corporate Sector Authority, first introduced way back in Daley's Han Solo novels.

Would Andor be better with longer episodes or as a movie? Episode 5 was just everyone literally sitting around talking to set up everything for the next episode. I hate waiting.

I sooooo wanted the ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ music to play at the end of the newest episode.
Imagine pulling off the heist of the century, then getting busted for loitering the next day and sentenced to six years.

And when the ISB chick got the other brown noser in trouble I was like “yeah!!” then I was like “Wait. Don’t cheer for the Imperials, asshole.”

really enjoying Andor, I like how it's set up as nine episodes in three arcs (sounds familiar, but I can't remember where I've seen that before... :D )

it seems to me there was a significant time-jump between Cassian leaving Maarva's place and being arrested, so not "the next day".

While watching Andor I realized this sort of feels like watching a novel with the way its paced. It takes its time and gives the characters room to breathe and have conversations, so it's not just exposition between action scenes.

And I also realized it took until episode 7 to finally see a Stormtrooper.
And there seems to be a lack of familiarity in terms of aliens and droids. With every other Star Wars media we've seen, astromechs and protocol droids (or droids similar to them) have been everywhere. And I'm not sure I've seen one familiar background alien yet.

I read somewhere they deliberately kept the aliens to a minimum. There was the big “enforcer” guy in the first episode, but if there've been anymore they were background dressing.

I’m curious about the officer that lost his job and is now in a shitty desk job. I can see him coming down on either side at the end.

Or change his name to Gabe and work at Dunder Mifflin.

There's more fucking in this show than the last 45 years of SW.

I blame live-action Yularen with actual dialogue.

Still love that they are keeping the cameos to only a few characters that make sense.

My only complaint is that it is so quiet. I finally gave up and turned on closed captioning for this last episode. Eventually I'll have to go back and watch the whole thing again with closed-captioning to see what I missed.

The craziest thing about possible cameos is everyone would say an Ahsoka cameo is gratuitous and unnecessary, but she's actually more or less the head of Rebel intelligence at this point and Cassian is eventually one of a very small number of people to use the Fulcrum code name, so she'd make more sense than almost any other character.
