I loved Solo. Unnecessary, inconsequential, but a lot of fun.
I completely bought Alden Ehrenreich as a young Han. He grabbed the essence of the character without doing a bad impression.
From the unconfirmed reports, the Lord & Miller version was a mess, and basically a comedy. Ehrenreich's performance in that version was described as similar to Ace Ventura.
I think Star Wars has room for a comedic take, but maybe not in the main continuity.

When they said Thrawn I yelled “Holy Shit!” and everybody watching it with me stared at me blankly and then called me a nerd.

It fits. Just more continuation of the Filoni story from Rebels. He said some time ago Thrawn survived but didn't provide any details. Chux is right, we'll see Ezra come to find Grogu at whichever planet with the temple they're heading to next.

Michael Biehn was wasted in that role. I was watching the entire episode and didn’t realize it was him until that final showdown with Din. He said a line and made a slight sneer/smile and I was like ‘waitminute...is that Michael Biehn??’ and then Mando blasted him 10 seconds later.
First Clancy Brown, and now Biehn. This show be sneaking classic 80s actors in on the reg.

Clancy Brown definitely needs to be Ryder Azadi if the show goes to Lothal. They seem to have based the look on older Clancy.

LOL at everyone who bought the Lego RazorCrest set for Christmas...oh wait. I did that. Hasn’t even arrived yet. It’s on back order. Fuck.
The first time Boba Fett has ever actually done anything EVER to warrant his “cool” status. Did not disappoint.
I’m sad thinking he’ll be the IG-11 of the second season and go out big and sacrificial saving Grogu and/or Din.

There's too much money to be made from Fett - he'll probsbly get his own show, like Ahsoka will.

Am I the only one that was glad to see Fennic Shan survived? I knew Ming Na Wen wouldn't go out like that!

No spoilers - but I had a very strong emotional reaction to the Mandalorian s2 finale. I was 5 or 6 years old again for a few minutes.

We got Disney+ again, so I'm going to watch the whole season this weekend.

So is this the end of the series??
And why the hell would Boba Fett want to take over that shitty backwater turd of a planet? It’s like someone wanting to be the crime kingpin in Turd City, Alabama, Population 350.

Awesome season. With the 2 spin-offs, the only storyline I could see them continuing would be taking back Manadlore.
The Dark Troopers were a little cheesy
I didn't realize Bib Fortuna survived the Sail Barge.
They really improved some of that digital technology since Rogue One.

First that horrid Ahsoka episode, then they go and make that finale...
AND TOTALLY REDEEM THEMSELVES!
Fucking loved that whole episode. I didn't think i wanted to see THAT (yet), but they did it so damn beautifully.
The X-Wing: Naaaaah.
The cloak: Ha ha, nice try, Favreau.
The green lightsaber and one gloved hand: This has got to be some kind of a bait-and-switch.
Takes off the hood: Oh my God...they actually did it.
Artoo: !!!
Favreau did more for Luke in 5 minutes than Johnson tried to do in over 2 hours.

Oh, and I guess something else kinda cool happened after the credits.
As I told Adam, the post credit scene was like nutting on your second round of sex. Sure, it's still good, but it was nowhere near as powerful as the first nut.
