It really only took maybe an hour to shoot (as should be obvious) and we had a shitload of fun doing it. Most of the footage we shot is pretty funny too, I made some great sound effects while shooting and speeding up the clips made it sound like actual kung-fu movie effects.

We planned to write a "script" but didn't have one in mind when shooting, we were trying to emulate our fave martial arts film trailers from the past, where you get NO sense of the actual plot (which usually is also the case when seeing the actual films, thanks to mistranslations and faking dialogue to fit the mouth movements) but it appears as if everyone in the film fights everybody else regardless of allegiance. I think we achieved that goal

I was reminded of this thread by last night's unimaginably awful episode of South Park. (Seriously, that show is either really "on" or really "off." I've rarely seen it as "off" as it was last night.)

Anyway, it apparently was spoofing a horror film called Human Centipede. I looked up a synopsis, and it looks really, really bad. Not that it's offensive, just stupid. I imagine that would be the greatest waste of two hours one could imagine.

PEDE is undoubtedly better.
