Willow (Disneyplus)

most tv sucks these days, but there are some shining examples of good writing, acting, camera work, etc... we call those Deadwood and Arrested Development. Family Guy sucks ass, though...

Moderators: Batman, Zero, John Madden, Bob Ross, General Zod, Richard Simmons

Willow (Disneyplus)

Anyone else? We're done the 8 episode 1st season. Without getting into details, we thought it was "ok". Suffered a little bit from Cobra Kai-esque adult silliness that was more forced than natural. I was happy to see Warwick Davis. He played is role fairly straight & it worked.

I only watched the first episode. The same day I watched Wednesday and National Treasure. Ironically, of the three only NT got me interested enough to start the second episode.

I’ll get around to finishing it eventually, but it was pretty routine apart from Davis.
"No Tom Foolery today, Ron. I'm tired of looking at your dreadful, speckled mug."
"Why do you hurt me in this way, Harry?"
”It’s a grid system motherfucker. Eleven up and one over, you simple bitch.”
