I haven't bought Legos in forever and my VIP points were set to expire on the first of the year. So I got the 60050 Train Station and the 60118 Garbage Truck sets to go in my eventual epic City set. I had about $40 worth of VIP so I got $85 worth of Legos for $45.

The Station is actually selling Lego sets in its little gift shop. I love it.

For only the 2nd time I can remember I had a missing piece in the Palace Cinema. It wasn't anything major (a two stud piece that I was able to use two single stud extras in the same color) but it's a testament tohow good they are that in my over 50 sets (actually now that I'm thinking I don't even know how many I have) I've only had two missing pieces.

I need to do that. I'm tired of paying!

On that note I recently built the Sa dcrawler and Slave I. I've got $100 in vip points so I may get the TIE Fighter half off basically.

For my birthday, my sweetie got me a 3in1 Creator set of a Corner Deli and the new LEGO City Gas Station set. I also splurged and bought myself the Cargo Train off tru.com. The day after I bought it, it dropped in price $20. I emailed them, but haven't heard back yet.
That'll be my fifth train set because LEGO trains are awesome.

For Christmas, I got the Modular Assembly Square. It’s taking me over a week to build it. It has over 4,000 pieces.

Still missing the Bank set. Might try and get that in the next couple weeks, since I’m buying less comics I have a little more scratch for Legos.

The Diner just came out. It looks pretty sweet. I noticed it’s the first time, they haven’t used the traditional yellow face characters. The Diner figures have expressions, facial hair, etc.

If I had the space to display it, my Lego City would look pretty fucking epic.

GF bought the Diner set after I said I was going to buy the Bank set. Diner came in the mail yesterday, along with the cool freebie set it comes with, which is a 60th Anniversary set of 4 mini constructs recreating the original 4 subsets. One for the Galaxy Explorer Space set, one for the 1978 yellow Castle set, one for the Pirate set, and one of the 1990 monorail/tram set.

It’s pretty sweet. Oh, and the Diner set is cool too. Should get the Bank set in a week or two.

Got a quarterly bonus on my check last week, as well as several hours of OT, so much paycheck was almost twice what it usually is.

I splurged and got the Ferris Wheel set.
Also saw the Roller Coaster set on Lego.com. Squeeeee!!!
Holy shit at $380 but I’m saving up for that bad boy.

Ferris Wheel should be here in a few days.

Wow. Voltron?

https://shop.lego.com/en-US/Voltron-213 ... =144831966

I remember sitting on the floor one Saturday morning in the 80s trying to build the vehicle version of Voltron out of Legos. Figured out fairly quickly that I didn't have the right pieces to try the lion version. I also tried making the vehicles from Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors.

My Lego Voltron arrived today!
Gonna build it with my daughter and GF.
Daughter called dibs on the Black Lion, so GF and I get the other four. Two apiece.

My Lego Movie 2:Apocalypseburg set came on Friday. Haven’t opened it yet. Have to figure out where I’m gonna display it. Running out of room in my apartment.
