JJL, had the Steakhouse today. Not overly impressed with it. Good Burger, but it doesnt take the crown of the Philly Steak Burger from Hardees.

Was that from "Roger and Me"? I've never seen it.

Michigan has its fair share of white trash, but I've never seen anything THAT bad. But at the same time, how is her killing that rabbit with whateverthefucksheused any different than using a rifle? I don't see what's so "offensive" or "disgusting" or "mean" about it.

I'll stop there with my right wing "food chain" thoughts.

I don't care if Lannette kills a rabbit or not - I just don't like seeing it.

I prefer a good old-fashioned fur-burger.

I don't have a Hardee's in my state (and no Carl's Jr. in my area -- they ARE the same thing, anarky, just in different areas). I will concede that the Steakhouse isn't the second coming, but it's better than a lot of the other run-of-the-mill fast food burgers.
Shit. I can't think of a good signature.

They are not the same thing. They are owned by the same company, and use a lot of the same names and menu items. Carls Jr is not famous for its fried chicken and steak biscuits, though. Hardee's is.

Wow.

That's insanely stupid.

I was wondering why Carl's never "imported" the chicken from Hardee's. Hardee's cutting out their chicken is possibly the dumbest business decision that company ever made. They had better chicken than KFC, and were well known for it.

I agree, I liked it alot. I think they started this Burger kick and want to do better in that field. The burgers are good, but they are expensive.

Love the Jules and his Big Kahuna burger pic RB, nice work.

I love BKs Whopper, w/ bacon and cheese, as well as their new "Stacker".
"Once there were brook trout in the streams in the mountains. You could see them standing in the amber current where the white edges of their fins wimpled softly in the flow. They smelled of moss in your hand. Polished and muscular and torsional. On their backs were vermiculate patterns that were maps of the world in its becoming. Maps and mazes. Of a thing which could not be put back. Not be made right again. In the deep glens where they lived all things were older than man and they hummed of mystery."

I gotta say I see where Diabolical is comin' from cuz when Lannette said something about "dressing the rabbits" he thought she was gonna play dolly with them and make them look pretty.

'Nark, with all due respect, I dunno what the fuck you're talking about. I've grown up with Hardee's and they've NEVER been known for their chicken, at least not around here. They used to be a chain in competition with McDonald's then they lost that battle and shifted focus to compete with the Culver's-type restaurant...and I assume they are losing that battle, too.

They might have offered chicken at some point but they sure as fuck ain't reknown for it.

I don't remember Hardees ever having chicken either. But ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roy_Rogers ... taurant%29
In 1990, Marriott sold the chain for $365 million to Hardee's, a Southern chain seeking to expand into the Mid-Atlantic market. Hardee's converted the remaining non-franchised locations into Hardee's restaurants; many of the new Hardee's continued to feature Roy Rogers' popular fried chicken.

Maybe it's only in the South. But they were seriously famous for it.

I also understand it's still available in NC.

Hell yeah. Way way better than KFC, Popeye's, and Church's.
