This SF Zoo shit is pissing me off

I keep reading about how the guy who was killed by the escaped tiger was a "hero" for distracting it.

Fuck that shit. The guy was a fucking cockbag douchesucker.

I can't find much of anything that indicates whether the zoo was even opened at the time. I assume that if it were closed, that would be mentioned in the news articles. It must've been deserted, though, for the tiger to chase these pricks 900 feet to a cafe and not happen across anyone else.

So these dicksuckers provoke an attack by climbing into the enclosure or dangling a body part or something. Who knows? There's a footprint, a dead shithead, and two shitheads who are not dead but apparently have been hostile to police. (Why not cooperate unless you did something wrong?)

And a dead Siberian tiger. Yeah. There are less than 1,000 of these beautiful animals left, and one gets killed for doing what tigers do.

The guy's not a hero. He's a criminal asshole, and he got what he deserved. Instead of praising him for possibly saving another fucknut, the news media should be announcing where we should all go if we want to shit on his corpse and suckerpunch his mother in the belly for raising such a goddamned dumbass motherfucker.

I finally found an article from an SF paper that fills in some of the seemingly obvious important facts:

The zoo was open. However, the tiger ignored other patrons when chasing down these three pricks.

A shoe was found between the safety fence and the moat. I've seen reports denying it was in the enclosure, which would technically be true if it wasn't on the other side of the moat.

Other objects were found in the enclosure that could not have gotten there naturally, and were probably thrown at the tigers.

Also, I didn't hear the whole story, but a TV news broadcast just now reports that the two brothers have a history of criminal activity.

And I'm no animal rights activist by any means, but zoos are an abomination of nature. Taking animals from other continents, suppressing their survival instincts, putting them in fucking northern California, and then having some fuckfucker taunt the animal, it's just asking for it. What the fuck do you expect when you take a tiger out of its natural habitat and place it into a muggy & depressing place like the SF zoo?

I've only been to a zoo 1 time in my life. And I don't think I'll ever go to another one again. It was sad, but it was also weird. I remember seeing the gorillas. There were 3 of them. I just remember looking at them, and one of them was biting its nails. It was just like a person. It was making eye contact with me, too. And the gorillas knew where they were. And they knew they didn't belong there.

And what's even more retarded about the SF tiger shit is that they killed it. Why did they kill it? The tiger is already in captivity. It most likely won't be killing anyone again.

People are so fucking wretched.

I live in southern California and I live near an abandoned golf course that has coyotes in it. And occasionally, there will be a coyote outbreak and everybody freaks out. And God forbid a coyote kills someone's dog, cause someone will go out and search for the coyote and kill it. It's fucking retarded.

People like set themselves up for a confrontation with a wild animal, and then when it happens, they kill it.

Last night, my wife left the TV in the living room on CNN. I was in the other room hearing it, and thought she was watching. (She'd gone on the computer, leaving the TV and lights on.)

Anyway, Nancy Grace was on maternity leave since some incredibly stupid Flantdig had apparently fucked this bitch nine months ago. And she had a passable clone on there, talking about this.

Apparently, there's a fund set up in the name of the douchebag who was killed. WTF? Where's the goddamned tiger memorial fund? There's a plethora of dumb fucks in the world, and one less tiger.

I'm no treehugger, either, but people have a distorted view of where they belong on the food chain.

Also, the prick's myspace page has been turned into a memorial. I wonder how many "You're a stupid fucking cockbag who got what was coming to him" messages there are. Judging by how stupid people are, none.

And the dumb bitch last night kept referring to "three innocent victims." Fuck. If I go in a convenience store with two buddies, all of us carrying pistols, and we start pistol-whipping the cashier and abusing his wife, and the owner pulls out a shotgun and blows my fucking head off, I'm hardly "innocent" or a "victim."

I'm sick of people calling him a hero, too. If someone uninvolved had risked his life to save the shitheads, whether knowing what had gone down or not, he'd be a hero. But to be involved in it? That's like "I was robbing the store and the owner pulled out a shotgun, and I took the shell for my buddy, so I'm a hero."

The animal was put down as a danger to humans. It'd be different if, say, the tiger got out on its own and started going into people's homes and eating their babies, like (very rarely) happens in India. Then you're justified for killing it. It's got a taste for people, and it's coming onto your turf. But this, man, this is so wrong it defies all belief.

On the hero thing: I get sick of hearing about 9-11 victims being "heroes." No, they were victims. Does that lessen the fact that they're dead? No. Does it insult their memory? No. It actually makes Al Qaeda more despicable. Joe Shmoe sitting at his desk on the 90th floor when a plane comes through the window isn't a hero. However, John Doe who is running out of the building and goes back to save an elderly woman and her quintuplet infant grandkids, all of whom are trapped under rubble in the middle of a fire, well, he's a hero. But not the guy who was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
