Fuck you, Santa Ana
Your goddamned winds blowing around 80 fucking MPH around here have totally stripped my garden of all ground cover, reduced visibility to about ten feet, flipped my trash cans and grill over, and even knocked over the fucking swing.
I hope Bowie is cornholing your ass with his famous knife every day in hell. Bastard.

I'm going to be pissed if those Santa Ana winds bring all that smoke from California here. Is a part of California burning at all times?

um... kidhuman BARELY needs to deal with old-man-winter. i don't think anything below the new jersey/maryland/delaware border gets anything a true NYer could call winter. and even NY has had ever increasingly mild winters for the past decade or so.Zero wrote:kidhuman wrote:Nelson wrote:HA-HA!!

but there's no such thing as global warming. not at all.

Exactly, I think the last 7 years I have been in Va we have gotten about 3 ft of snow total.

and at least in the summer, everything in the south is air-conditioned. NY summers are becoming just as hot and humid as the south, and most of the construction is pre-central air.

Old man who? I live in NY, and it's still in the upper 70s and it's the middle of fucking October. Summer just doesn't want to die.Zero wrote:You East Coast fuckers have to deal with old man winter. Who's Nelson laughing now, bee-yotch?

Out here in Colorado it's hot as shit until, one day mid-October, it smacks you in the fucking face. Then it's extremely fucking cold in the morning and sunny and hot in the afternoons for a while, then it's a crapshoot from there. Last year we got about 18 feet of snow and it didn't melt until like March. Fun stuff.
Shit. I can't think of a good signature.

Re: Fuck you, Santa Ana
I just finished vacuuming the dust that came in the windows. Which were all closed. For the second time today. The wind seems to have died down for the moment, but the warning is still in effect until tomorrow evening.
We're relatively lucky. I had to get the mail earlier (funny, they actually delivered today--and I didn't want the mail to get ruined, since we get a lot of dirt buildup in the box under normal wind conditions) and drove around the neighborhood. There were downed trees, houses with mounds of dirt about two feet high in the front yards. It's bad. Not hurricane bad, but bad.
