just got back from driving my mom home after another full-day in the hospital. my wife still hasn't gotten to see the baby since it's in the NICU and she's basically immobile until she's healed up after the c-section. but i've fed and held her twice, and changed two diapers already. man, that meconium is freakin' nasty slimey tar shit...

the missus is feeling better, and the baby's also doing really well. another good feeding (which she should've had by now) and she should be able to come off the IV drip. after that, it's just bringing her fever down, get her off the antibiotics, and she can be with mommy. both should be home by monday.

holy crap, that does look cool! i may have to get it!!!

anyway, enough words... pictures!

and not the baby, but a cute pic... the infamous cat, meg(atron) has gotten used to the smell of the baby pretty quickly... that blanket was wrapped around her during one of her feedings yesterday. don't know if this is behavior to discourage or what, but it's pretty freakin' cute...
