This dude really is one of the best around right now.
I was inspired to post this when I found a remaindered copy of Anansi Boys today for $6 in hardback. I've obviously not read it, but have high expectations.
I've so far only read Coraline and Good Omens, but they both are the bees balls.

I remember seeing Neil Gaiman's novels start hitting the stands, and remember considering the purchase of same. Never bought one, but I Might just go ahead and try one out.

I'm about 85% through Anansi Boys after less than two days of reading. Assuming he doesn't fuck up the end of the story in ways only Lucas and King have done before, this one will be getting very high marks.

I recently found, bought & read Mirrormask, which was turned into a Labyrinth/Dark Crystal-esque movie in 2005 (which I haven't seen).
Pretty trippy for a children's book.
I love the way the book has been laid out though. Very artsy, with varying type fonts and sizes interlaced with great imagery (photos and drawings). That, along with the $3 price tag, were the main selling points for me.
