America : The Book A Citizen's Guide To Democracy Inaction

Post by Eternal Padawan »

I borrowed this from some friends and I can't get through one page without laughing so hard I can't breathe. Funny ass shit. John Stewart and the Daily Show crew have outdone themselves. I think I now have to go out and buy my own copy.

I recently borrowed America from Cappy. Great stuff, most people* should find it funny.

I got this a while ago (well under 18) and thoroughly enjoyed it. I need to get it out again.
Shit. I can't think of a good signature.

I can't even count the number of times I've read that book. It has a permanent spot in the bathroom so I can grab it when I dump and read a section or two.

And to whack it to nekkid Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Liberal Jews are hot.

Has anyone gotten I Am America (And So Can You!)? I'll likely get it for my birthday or Christmas but wanted to know what others thought.
Shit. I can't think of a good signature.

I thumbed through it the other day. It looks similar to A:TB, but with a lot more text and fewer pictures. Not quite a "real" political book, though.

I want it, but am resisting the urge. I know, like most nonfiction book nowadays, it'll have 50 extra pages in paperback, and I'll just feel ripped off.
