Free Comic Book Day 2018

Well I ventured out to one store because they were having a 99 cent back issue sale - but managed to foget my list of sought after issues so that put a damper on that. For freebies I scooped the following:

Avengers 1
ASM 1
Bob's Burgers (for Tom)
Overwatch (for Tom)

There were a good bunch of books available - an all ages Star Wars story by IDW no less made me look twice because of the publisher, but for no other reason. I think it's Han & Chewie in case that prompts anyone to rush out.

Star Wars and Unicron aren't quite enough to get me excited enough to drive a half hour when I have a whopping 90 minutes of free time today.

Not worth it. I'm sure someone can scoop you the transformers book or you'll find it online for free here shortly.

The Ryan Ottley Spider-Man debut didn't look all that great. Sara Pichelli drew the Avengers issue which did look good, but Ed McGuiness is the guy on that book moving forward & I think everyone is sick of him by this point (or maybe it's just me). Lenil looked great on Cap as you'd expect.

It'll be in the paperback. That's one thing IDW is good about.

Still bittersweet and I kinda don't want to read it, as if I believe deep down it's not over until I actually read the end.
