All the little Serenity hints Dark Horse has been giving aren't for a new mini-series; its for an ongoing series!
Following the model established with its "Buffy" line of books, the "Serenity" series will pick up where the 2005 film ended, and, as revealed exclusively to CBR News, will feature "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" artist Georges Jeanty.

As the series begins, Mal and the crew are recouping from their recent strike against the sinister interplanetary government, The Alliance, in which they exposed government agencies as those responsible for the creation of the Reavers -- the scourge of the universe. With River Tam in the co-pilot chair and a very pregnant Zoe reeling from the death of her husband, Wash, Mal is finding himself and his ship in greater danger than ever.
The writer hasn't been announced yet.

Dark Horse Unveils Zack Whedon’s SERENITY: LEAVES ON THE WIND

Not an ongoing (yet), but a six issue mini starting January 29.
Written by Zack Whedon, it'll take place 9 months after Serenity - coincidental timing, especially if you've read Float Out.

Just preordered the collection, since it's finally solicited.

Mid-November. Christ, Dark Horse is fucking slow with collecting shit.

Hrrmm...My Serenity collection is spotty.
I think I have the first series.
I just found issue 3 of Better Days, but I don't know if I have the first two. (EDIT. I do have issue 1. Just need 2 now.)
I do NOT have Float Out Oneshot.
Nor do I have Sheperd's Tale. Was that a regular series or was it only a TPB?
I'm getting Leaves on the Wind as it's released.

Is that everything? I also dislike comics with multiple covers for each issue, because when I see one, I'm not sure if I have that issue, but just not that cover. Or if I need that issue. It doesn't hurt to have multiple covers because they're all great to have, but you run the risk of buying the same cover multiple times.
Comics should have ONE cover like in the olden days.

TPB.

Almost.
FCBD 2012 Star Wars/Serenity
Myspace Dark Horse Presents #13 had "The Other Half" and USAToday.com had "Downtime." I think both were only printed in the Better Days and Other Stories trade.

I have:
Those Left Behind - paperback and hardcover.
Better Days and Other Stories - hardcover.
Better Days - single issues
Float Out One-shot
FCBD 2012 Star Wars/Serenity
Leaves on the Wind single issues

Missing:
Those Left Behind #1-3 single issues.
Sheperd's Tale
