Those 2 must hold the same place in my memory banks - I would have said Len Wein was dead already. RIP. :(

RIP Mr. Wein. and thank you for Wolverine, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Storm, and all the other fantastic characters you created.

Through them, you are immortal, Sir.

He's not dead, but William Messner-Loebs has hit some really hard times. As if having one arm wasn't hard enough, the guy is pretty much homeless.

One-armed comic book artist worked on Wonder Woman, now homeless in Michigan

Shitty story. The guy is a staple at every Michigan Con I've been to.

Damn.

The guy is a fucking god. His run on Flash alone warrants burnt sacrifices in his honor.

And that's just for creating Squirrel Girl.

I get why he eschewed the spotlight, but I wish he could’ve been convinced to cameo in at least one Spidey or Dr Strange film.

It also bums me out when everybody tweets these excellent tributes all across social media. All the other comic creators and stuff saying wonderful things about him(or anybody) AFTER HES GONE and can’t appreciate the sentiment.

RIP Mr Ditko. You are immortal.

The co-creator of my namesake has passed. No details yet that I've seen, but I assume related to the stroke he suffered in 2014.

RIP, Norm Breyfogle.

Jesus. Jim Lee & Rob Liefeld are going to be the elder statesmen of this stupid hobby in no time.

Yesterday I was looking at Twitter and noticed Mallrats was trending. There was a bunch of people posting the clip of Stan Lee's cameo. That's how I found out about him.

We knew it was coming. I still hate it. There was always, until yesterday, a chance I'd finally get to meet him, shake his hand and thank him profusely like a million other Marvel zombies before me... now there's not.

Same.
Stan was the example I used when I said there were very few celebrities that I'd pay to meet at a con.
