Even though writer Tim King is pissed that it got spoiled, he said ultimately his big story is only half way done - the story of Batman and Catwoman is really a 100 issue arc.
Not sure I want to stick around that long.

So, what's the shocking last page reveal after Catwoman realizes the wedding is a shit idea? Martha Wayne is alive and she's a porn star?

Catwoman's friend (I forget her name) returns to Arkham and tells Bane and a bunch of other Bat-villains the wedding never happened.

Yeah, somebody said the entire issue was just a set up for Bane forming the DC equivalent of the Sinister Six.

I didn't realize Bane was a villain this week. I must've gotten my calendar mixed up.

The only part worth the money was the guest artists doing full pagers of the couple. The story was stupid & I should have expected that on the heals of X-Men 30. I don't think I want to do 50 more issues of Batman either. I will read the first 2 issues of the new writer on Detective here today & that might be enough to get me to stop on that. I'm 4-6 issues into Deathstroke v Batman, so I'll finish that, still on the fence about Doomsday clock but it's hard for me to start & not finish.

I got a trade of Death in the Family, which I haven't read in years. It's still good. The book also includes the first appearances of Tim Drake from a bit later on in Batman & Teen Titans - this is all great stuff by stars of the 70s & 80s - Starlin, Aparo, Wolfman, Perez. Glad I got it. Also included in the bat-binge were the remainder of the nu 52 trades and a tpb of the second Dark Knight installment with hopes that I can sell my originals for more than it cost.

DarthQuack told me he got a collection of the Knightfall saga, and noticed KnightsQuest: The Search was missing. He wanted to know if he should track it down.

I was kinda surprised that I remembered nothing about it other than the deus ex machina healing (and memory wipe of his magical girlfriend), a boring new supervillain (Asp, wasn't it?), some nice Brett Blevins art, and being so bored by it that I skimmed or maybe skipped entire issues.

Is it a contender for the worst Batman story of that era, or does it just seem so much lesser for being a weak chapter in an overarching story where all the other installments were great?

According to one of the stories in Detective 1000, we can now add Penguin to the list of villains who knows Bruce Wayne is Batman, but he keeps it to himself.

I love how Clay Mann has just straight up made Batman into Magnum P.I. for the last two issues. Fucking love it. And his Selina is meeeeeow.

Tim Drake’s codename is no longer Robin or Red Robin. His new codename is...Drake. Y’know...like the duck.
Except....it’s also his..last..name...?? Stupid.
