I have managed to accrue second copies of all of Paul Smith's issues of Uncanny except for 167. Once I have them together, I'm thinking of sending them to be bound in a cheap hardcover. Research of the prices makes me think it'll be in and around the $30.00 mark.
Anyone else ever done this or considered it? I wouldn't do it with my good copies, obviously.... but sometimes moving boxes around to pull issues out for re-reading is a pain in the ass.

Interesting. I've never even considered it. I just didn't know it was an option.

When I was buying those Marvel Masterworks books more regularly, I used to browse a forum about them. Guys who love hardcover comic collections have been doing it for years, that's where I got the idea.
