He was spot on when he said the X-books have been in a loop telling stories about older stories.
He’s a divisive creator. There’s gonna be a lot of bitching about how he’s “ruining” X-Men once he gets going.

I can’t wait.

Thor #229 - the first appearance of Wolverine...sort of...in an ad for The Incredible Hulk #181.

Love it. Just watched a quick thing on Len Wein & GSXM1 on the Marvel site, it didn't get into Wolvie's appearance in hulk at all.

Hmmm...sorting recent purchases today and noticed the War of the Realms:Uncanny X-Men tie-in mini series has the Legacy numbering on it, much like the Avengers:No Road Home series did for Avengers. So I went and checked to see where the mini fits into the regular series and it’s “sharing” legacy numbering with issues 15 and 16 of the current UXM book.
So UXM 15 and WotR:UXM 1 are both Legacy 634
And UXM 16 and WotR:UXM 2 are both Legacy 635.
Presumably this will continue thru the end of the mini.
Thought maybe it was an editorial snafu when mocking up covers, but Rosenberg is writing both books, so maybe it’s happening simultaneously.

And in case anyone was wondering the WotR:Punisher tie-in mini does NOT have Legacy numbering on it.

After House/Powers of X, they announced the new “Hickman” books.

X-Men. Cyclops, Wolverine, Jean, Rachel, Cable, Havok, Corsair, and...Vulcan?? Looks like Scott is keeping it in the family with the new flagship.

Excalibur. A new Captain Britain, Gambit, Rogue, Rictor, Jubilee, and...Apocalypse??

Marauders. Kitty Pryde, Iceman, Storm, Bishop, Pyro, and Emma Frost. Saving the world from the high seas.

New Mutants. Moonstar, Magic, Karma, Cypher, Sunspot, Wolfsbane, Chamber, and Mondo. Head into space to look for Cannonball.

Fallen Angels. Psylocke/Kwannon, X-23, and Cable.

X-Force. Jean Grey, Beast, Sage, Quentin, Wolverine, Domino, Colossus, and...Black Tom?? The “CIA” of the mutant world. Part intelligence gathering, part special ops.

Looks like they undid a good portion of the deaths from Rosenberg’s recent run.
I wonder if X-Men will have Uncanny’s legacy numbering.

For the first time in a lonnnng Time, I read a book the same day I bought it.

House of X 1. Since you’re supposed to read the two series together, I’m gonna wait until the entire 12 issues are out before we talk about it.
My only quibble is how they repurposed Damage Control into something slightly nefarious. I feel like it goes against Dwayne McDuffie’s original concept for the institution. But other than that, solid stuff from Hickman. Super excited.

Through 4 issues & it still feels like he's setting the stage. I had to go back & read Wikipedia to find out about how Prof X came back to life after AvX... and I'm really fucking glad I wasn't reading those issues as they happened. Sounds like I would have been furious about spending money on shit like that. *Pats self on back*

Scenario 1. I’m gonna be annoyed if every time one of them dies, they just pop out a new clone and Xavier ‘uploads’ their memories because he’s like super ultra telepath man and can keep ‘copies’ of everyone in his head.

Scenario 2. its a Danger Room sequence as they prepare for the real thing.

Scenario 3. This is all Moira’s Sixth Life.

I'm just reading it & trying not to analyze. The big events the last 2 issues out in space - no idea if that was the current timeline or the future.

Ugh. It was scenario 1 above. I mean, kudos to making it a bit more complicated (Ha. Goldballs serves a purpose now?!) but still not liking it.

I mean it still might be the other scenario as well. That mysterious sixth timeline...

Finished the 6s. It just seems to me like we've been introduced to the cast of villains in something larger.

Still missing House 6. But I read Powers 6.
My wallet is not gonna like the eight new ongoings spinning out of this.
