Marvel announced another relaunch coming soon, like Marvel Now a few years ago.
All the Avengers titles will be condensed in one title with Avengers #1.

Wait, so is Avengers not even gonna hit a milestone issue before it relaunches? It’s on 681 right now.

That's still 19 issues (or 2 relaunches) away.

It's weekly right now, running through until 686 or 687. I would suggest they'll #1 again after that then revert again for 700. We've seen this shit before.

Don't get used to Waid on Cap because its getting relaunched on July 4th by the guy that writes Black Panther.

I wonder if he'll continue "TRUTH". The guy is a major current events writer from the perspective of black folks outside his comic writing.

Wow, I started reading it and realized how long it was. I’ll have to come back and finish it.

I think it’s amusing that they “finish” the definitive run (Englehart and Pollard) exactly where I started buying FF, with Simonson’s run.

I have read WAY more after that point than before. I'm amassing collections of the Lee Kirby stuff but I'm not at the point yet where I can go through it in proper order. I have all the Byrne issue here as well, but again they sit there waiting to be read. Getting closer to the top of the list though.

I’ve read a bunch of the Byrne stuff but all out of order.

When I first started collecting, I was buying a lot of stuff one issue at a time in both directions. So with FF I was getting Simonson’s stuff, but also buying Englehart’s stuff backwards towards 300 and reading it backwards one issue at a time.

It's interesting to me, the more I read ABOUT Marvel, the more I hear that Englehart's runs on many books were among the best. I've never sought out his runs based on name alone, but I think that might be in the works for FF & CAP anyhow.

Speaking of the Fantastic Four...

Dan Slott and Sara Pichelli are relaunching the series this summer.

Also, Thor, Uncanny X-Men and Amazing Spidey are getting relaunched.

Re fucking re relaunched. Black Panther also gets a new #1, and I'm sure there are others.

Some good news...
The changes for all Issue #1’s include a brand new trade dress highlighting an issue’s creative team, a smaller UPC box, and dual numbering for the higher Legacy numbering and the lower, relaunched number.

Well. That only took them like 12 years to figure out.

They announced a new West Coast Avengers series starting both Hawkeyes, Gwenpool, Quentin Quire, and America Chavez.
The hook is they are not a well funded team, so they’ll be making money to run the team by being on a reality show.

So the problem there is does no one remember what happened the last time there was a reality show about superheroes? The New Warriors all died, 600 people in Stamford CT exploded, and Civil War started.
So A. Why would any superhero think it would be a good idea to be on a reality show, and more importantly B. Why would any network, studio and/or producer sign off on a reality show, knowing the stigma attached to the previous one?
