You make it sound like I was totally being a smartass. :)
heh... no, that's not what i meant it to sound like.
I seriously want to see how you handle big, blocky robots. Not the "T-1000" type. I can't think of better blocky robots than the classic Transformers.
totally understood. i will definitely get to that eventually, once i feel my chops are up to snuff.
Skeletor looks pretty f'in awesome.
thanks, dude!
I'm guessing from your comments about the animation style that you didn't see the new show about three years ago (when the new toyline came out). It was absolutely incredible, but sadly isn't on DVD and doesn't get re-run anymore. :(
no, i didn't see it, but yeah, i was referring to the original series.

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (2002)

The series will be released on DVD by BCI Eclipse "early next year".
Very cool! They've been saying "next year" for several years, so I didn't realize that article was actually from 2007.

Vyn, you should definitely check it out when it drops on DVD.

Some more requests, just to keep you with plenty of material:

Casey Jones (the bat-toting vigilante, not the engineer or the comic artist)
Spirit Iron-Knife
V (as in "For Vendetta")
The Joker
Anarky (well, duh)
Nightcrawler
Dr Mindbender
Zartan
Darkhawk (fucking dumb character, but bitching design)

It wouldn't let me post this on the scribble page ("Not Found" when I hit submit), but:
More good stuff Vyn.
You're right about the perspective - it can be a killer, but you're really close.
A little tweaking on Bat's left leg is all it needs. Right now it looks a little like a short leg with a giant foot. A little work on that leg and BAM! - a bat-boot to the face.
Keep up the good work.

Not at all a criticism, but if you're feeling iffy about the perspective, I'd recommend Perspective! for Comic Book Artists by David Chelsea.

fixed now, the link redirect was missing the "http://" in front of it, so it was trying to find

http://dailyscribble.vynsane.com/entry: ... /entry:15/

which obviously doesn't exist...

Dear Vynsane,

Would it be possible for you to draw a picture of me on the Bat-Cycle? I'd like to hang the it in my corner of the Bat Cave.

Thank you,

Robin, the Boy Wonder

I would like to request a drawing of Captain Britain that doesn't suck. Like a cool modern outfit that doesn't include ridiculous boots or have the Union flag splashed across the whole outfit. No mask or helmet either. This came close to not sucking diseased boners but it still seems retarded. Haven't we got past the spandex costume thing yet?
So yeah, Non crappy spandex Captain Britain please if you would be so kind. Thankyouta.

Are you more a fan of the gold lion silhouette on red motif? Or are you looking for a 100% top to bottom redesign. And are you opposed to the union jack in general, or just having it encumber the entire suit? Hair; long, short, super short? Facial hair?
