Cell phone problem

computers are cool - they are the reason you are here right now! Hopefully, JJReason can build one and prove once and for all, Canadians are somewhat intelligent.

Cell phone problem

Post by Diabolical »

While on my phone, almost every time I click on an article from Facebook to something like CBR I get a fucking pop up and I need to close the page and reopen it in order to finish reading it.
It typically says its from Google (obviously not really) or I have a virus or some shit.

I did a bit of research and one of my apps could be causing it.

So my question is, how do I find out what app or whatever is causing it?
Most info I've found seems to lead to an ad for a program rather than a real answer.

This is an old answer, but it might help you narrow down the list?

"In Settings, under Apps. Tap on an app to open its details, and there's a section that shows what permissions it has. There are also third-party apps that'll scan all your installed apps and group them by permissions so you don't have to check each one individually. And Android 6 (Marshmallow) has an advanced section specifically for controlling which apps can draw over others — tap the gear icon at the top of the screen in the apps list."
