My PS2 and Gamecube have gone tits up. I should probably call Sony and send the PS2 in, but I haven't got around to doing that yet. I know Gamecubes are cheap, but we decided to get the Wii when it comes out. In the meantime, she said I could get the X-box (original, not 360) if I wanted to. A used one runs around $125 and one of the used game places has a buy 2 get one free deal on games. Is the X-box worth buying at this point?
Personally I'd hold off and get the PS2 fixed. The only X-Box games that are "mandatory" playing (from what I've heard - I've played them for a few minutes each) are the Halo games. Everything else has been ported. When I got my PS2 fixed I only paid shipping one-way and they covered the rest - it was about a 2 week turnaround.
Send it off and rent a 360 for 2 weeks, then you can play all the X-Box games you want and see if you like it.
This is one of the new thin PS2s. I had the original model, but I had to send that thing in twice. After it got fixed the second time, I traded it in and bought the new version. I've tried to clean it, but it didn't work. It is so freaking dusty here.
I went down on the Las Vegas Strip last night looking for an X-Box. I found a middle-aged, chain smoking lady who said she had a Triple-X Box for $50. So, I said, "Hell yeah!"
The bitch took my money, and she gave me a really mediocre lay and a bad case of crabs. But she left without giving me a video game system.
God, thinking about the lack of elasticity in those 6 pussy lips has got me stuck with the mental image of a mess of very large popped balloons. Thanks, Chux.
