I can't fathom why they can't release a version with fewer levels, or less AI, or something, for the Wii. Not like it wouldn't sell, y'know?
Especially since AC got a NintendoDS game.
Eh. I think you should cave and get one. In addition to those titles you mentioned there are plenty of older games you can find for $20 or less now.

If I get the PS3, I might pick up a the Batman game. The last Batman game I played was probably on NES. TRU had some deal were you buy the game, you get an exclusive Batman figure painted in his 70s colors. I don't even collect comic book figures, but I want that one.
By the way, Toys R Us is having a buy 2 get 1 free sale on all video games and accessories.
Well, from the Commercials I was seeing all week, they implied that if you bought Arkham City, they threw Arkham Asylum in for free. I don't know if it was a special bundle or what, or if that promo is over. But both games for $60 (or if you're Canadian $200) is a good deal. Because Asylum is/was awesome, and City looks to be just as boneriffic.

I haven't been to the store, but checked the website & there was no mention of a package or anything. As per usual, the old game is sold out everywhere right now in light of the new one's release - this is when I should be looking for Final Fantasy or Call of Duty games or something that's not supa hot right now.

Yikes. Never heard that one.
You don't NEED to have/play Arkham Asylum first but it is a great game and well worth it, especially if you want to wait for Arkham City to drop in price.
As with a lot of great video game series, once you've played the second, the first just isn't as fun anymore because its like taking a step backward in terms of gameplay.
EP wins Mr. Big Balls of the week - stopped at WalMart on the way home & got the 2 game package for 59.99. Fucking sweet - now to find time to play them.
