LEGO games are fun. And easy. I don't feel like pulling my hair out trying to beat them.

The trailer looks great - like next gen great. I sure hope it drops for PS2 as well, for us lowly trailer trash "last gen" types.

Indiana Jones Lego

Post by Double_G »

So have you guys played Lego Indiana Jones yet? I just picked it up the other day and I just finished up the "Last Crusade" levels today. Of course, I still have to go back and get all the unlockables, but it seems much easier to obtain 100% with this game than the Lego Star Wars games. It's a lot of fun. Since you can pick up weapons in the game, I had Short Round carrying a bazooka. That alone was worth the price of the game. This definitely should be on your "must get" list, especially if you liked the Lego Star Wars games.
Good. Bad. I'm the guy with the gun.

split this off, as i'm sure a bulk of us will get it and discuss...

i don't have it yet, but short round hefting a bazooka around is TOTALLY a selling point!

It pisses me off how this isn't coming for Xbox, but I don't play much anymore so whatever. I suppose I might get it for PS2 instead, but I might just rent it.
Shit. I can't think of a good signature.

I played it for a bit on Wii this past week, it was okay. I found the brunt of the characters to be less than exciting, but the levels were pretty fun.

We've got it now for PS3, and I must say it's about as frustrating as trying to fuck a piggy bank (not that I've tried - at least not that I'll admit to).

I find certain things disappear at weird times & that it's difficult to move things from one "screen" to another - the motor bikes in Temple of Doom had my kid crying and me ready to smash a controller... we eventually had to drop one character out to bring the bikes onto the last screen of the level. :frus:

I'm better now though - I checked out some internet porn and dealt with the pent up stress.

In case you missed it elsewhere:
For those of us in the dark ages still using a PS2, you can get Lego Indy at Circuit City this week for $25.

lego indiana jones

got SW and bats, so here we go with this one...

i'm having a lot of fun with it. they're very creative with how to meet the demands of both the plot and making the puzzles rather difficult while at the same time keeping characters true to character and making all characters useful.

and you can build your own character here, too.

i'm at 43% or something, and just started 'last crusade' though i skipped the last board of 'temple' without realizing it, so i'm going to have to go back. the mine cart chase is well done, and a lot of fun. i haven't free-played any of the boards yet, just want to go through and finish the story modes first. but i've hit 'true adventurer' on every board so far (y'know, the threshold of studs you collect where you get the bonus... can't remember what it's called in SW).

anyone else grab this one? it actually makes me want to buy a IJ lego set! maybe i'll get a small one to represent each of the lego games.

I've got it. I finished Raiders but haven't played it in a while. I've concentrating more on Batman.

Of the two I think Batman is far better. In Lego world Indy seems fairly bland in comparison to Batman and Star Wars. I'm sure I'll go back to Indy, but it won't be until after I get 100% on Batman.

i dunno... i started batman but then switched to indy... weird.

can you create your own character in batman? i couldn't find where to do that, and i think that's what turned me off. that was my favorite part of SWL2. it's too bad the first SWL didn't have it.

i've finished all story modes and now i'm going back for artifacts and other stuff. i think i'm at 72% or thereabouts.
