Is that the modern warfare one? I saw an ad for it on TV and it looked fucking awesome.

I borrowed my brother-in-law's copy of COD: Modern Warfare (PS3) last weekend. Took me 5-6 hours on Sunday to beat it. Really cool game, but very short. The ac-130 (I believe it was) mission was awesome, as were several others. I hear the game really shines with online multiplayer though, didn't get to try that out.
"Once there were brook trout in the streams in the mountains. You could see them standing in the amber current where the white edges of their fins wimpled softly in the flow. They smelled of moss in your hand. Polished and muscular and torsional. On their backs were vermiculate patterns that were maps of the world in its becoming. Maps and mazes. Of a thing which could not be put back. Not be made right again. In the deep glens where they lived all things were older than man and they hummed of mystery."

Call of Duty: Black Ops commercial
I got a kick out of it. Not only is it a clever commercial, but the underlying implications that we as a society can get together and try to shoot at each other as a bonding experience is hilariously disturbing. Or disturbingly hilarious. And I had to see it twice to make sure that was Jimmy Kimmel with the rocket launcher. Awesome.

I didn't even notice he was in it - and I even thought that they should put a celebrity in there.
They also should have had a hot chick in a bikini with machine guns too.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops commercial
I thought the black guy might be a sports celebrity of some kind, but I don't know any of those guys on sight. Anybody know?
Also, I'd put a youtube link in here, but can't do it from my phone.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops commercial
I just watched the commercial on youtube. That was Kobe Bryant who plays basketball for the Lakers. He had "Mamba" written on his gun. Jimmy Kimmel had "Proud nOOb" on his RPG.

I didn't notice that was Bryant either.
I tend to avoid anything to do with him like a plague.

Re: Call of duty 4
This new CoD:Ghosts commercial made me laugh. Only because I'm fairly certain at least half the Network people in charge of putting commercials on the air probably didn't get it, yet it's on TV anyway.
"No Tom Foolery today, Ron. I'm tired of looking at your dreadful, speckled mug."
