Dammit

Post by anarky »

A few weeks ago, our food processor broke. We're not sure why.

And, now, the blender fell in the sink and, despite having a glass jar half an inch thick, it broke, too.

I'm going to either have to track down parts for or replace both fucking devices. Son of a bitch.

Harsh. Is it more cost effective to replace the parts or just buy new ones? I don't know what blenders and FPs go for these days.

It'd be cheaper by far to buy a new one if I'd broken multiple pieces, since any one piece seems to run about half what the whole thing runs. We got the nicest ones possible because we knew they'd see heavy use, and the bases and motors (and most parts of the upper assembly, for that matter) are still good.
