Yes, already have Blind Master. I have a Alley Viper I haven't opened yet. Also saw a Joe Colton yesterday, but didn't get it.

I know it is a long shot, but I'm hoping to get Ultimate Duke, Ultimate Flint, Ultimate Roadblock, or the Combat Ninja. Maybe a Crimson Guard. There may be a chance with things showing up at Ross and Tuesday Morning. There is some place called 5 Below also getting GI Joe, but they are only back east somewhere.

Damn, I've seen Ultimate Roadblock a couple of times, and didn't pick him up. I'll keep my eyes open.

I did pick up an Ultimate Flint for the custom potential, but I haven't opened him yet. If you don't find one first, I'll trade him for Jinx next time I'm up in Vegas. The Crimson Guard is a really nice figure, but Ultimate Duke and Combat Ninja are both amazing. (Duke's alternate head makes him a sweet army builder, too.)

The anniversary line that was a TRU exclusive is now being shared with Bigbadtoystore.

The only one I plan on buying is the night landing craft/VAMP set.

Assuming BBTS is overpriced as always, the pricing isn't bad. Hell, even if it's not, it's not too bad.

I want the WOLF, Night Landing, EELS, Viper Officer, and red Night Viper. Unfortunately, they've made it impossible to get figures and vehicles a la carte without stocking up on pointless reissues. :( Seriously, who fucking needs three goddamn Low-Lights? And I've lost count of all the Beach Heads. Somehow he became the new Snake Eyes (who at least is different in these sets!).

Hasbro is really botching the 50th anniversary badly here. :(

Yes, it is definitely disappointing. I can understand re-paints and reusing parts up to a point. But like you said, what's going on with all of the Beacheads? And why Barbecue? That Leatherneck is an improvement of the one I have that came with the quad, but I don't need another Destro or Hawk.

I more or less kit-bashed that Flint that comes with the Vamp using some Joe body(can't remember which) from ROC line and Flint's head from the 25th Cobra Flint figure. At least it wasn't Duke.

Thing about Beach Head is that not only have we gotten a ton of ridiculous reissues and slight repaints, we've actually gotten several unique sculpts of him since the 25th line started. And he's never been a major character. He must be someone's favorite on the design team. At least Firefly you can argue that he's major, was in the second movie, and the different ones can make decent generic Cobras. Not the case with Beach Head.

Beachhead was one of my favorite as a kid, but he does seem to have a lot of unwarranted attention. Sort of like all of the Greedo or Bossk figures in Star Wars. Without looking it up, I think there were 2 in the 25th line (single and comic pack), one for ROC that came with the motorcycle, one for POC, one from the 3 pack from the last movie, and now a 50th.

Hasbro did show great restrain by not putting any Cobra Commanders, Fireflies, Dukes, and Stormshadows into these sets.

Apparently, there is still a GI Joe brand at Hasbro.

The guy seems to have some good ideas (easy army building vs one Cobra short packed per case of Snake Eyes), but I'll believe it when I see it.

I'm essentially done with SW. The few things they put out that I want aren't worth what they're charging. I'm debating dropping TF; too many resculpts, too pricey for the quality, and the emphasis now on the somewhat boring Combiners (really, separately, the individuals mostly blow), and the difficulty in finding stuff is killing my fun. With Joe essentially dead, I wonder if I qualify as a collector anymore.

Today was the first time I checked Hisstank in quite a while. I checked the site again and now Hasbro is saying they won't have any GI Joe at Toy Fair.

I haven't exactly stopped collecting, but I'm not really buying much either. After Christmas, I managed to find the Lady Jay/Baroness set. It is the only time I saw a 2-pack that wasn't Barbecue. Since the Star Wars Black Series started, I've only got a few figures. Now, I did get the 12" Boba Fett from the Disney Store for Christmas. He is more or less the symbolic replacement of the 12" Boba Fett I had when I was 7.

Yeah, I don't like idea of multi vehicle packs. I would have bought the Chuckles w/ the Awe Striker, but I don't want the other thing or to spend $50 on it. I like a couple of both the 3 packs and 2 packs.

What's up with Dusty and Bazooka being blue?

Oh, I still have that movie yellow/black Jinx figure. Do you still want it?

The new figures are starting to hit.

Assuming they hit TRU, I'll probably get Gung-Ho/Cobra Shadow Guard . Not that excited about about the other 2-packs.
