New DC 4" Figures - Holy Shit
These look like possibly the best 4" figures I've ever seen. I'm floored. Sorry if there is another post, I honestly didn't look for one.

Re: New DC 4" Figures - Holy Shit
wow, those are unexpected. a line of 4" DC figures based on movies that are two or three decades old??? EDIT: or television shows that are almost five decades old?????
they do look really good, but i'm skeptical that they will look as good on the shelves. plus it looks like superman has no knee articulation.

I want these to be as good as those pics look. DC figures have a long history of sucking ass in person, though.

That's what I mean - the concept is out there, but they look astonishing. I would totally get with that Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman figure.

Funko is doing a 3.75" Classic Batman line. No Louie the Lilac, but they have King Tut, Mr. Freeze, & Bookworm.

Did the figures in the original post ever get made?

Yes. The line was called DC Comics Multiverse. I have the Danny Devito Penguin. I remember seeing Zod, Superman, and both versions of the Michael Keaton Batman. I don't remember seeing either Catwoman, but I also wasn't looking that hard for them. There were others in the line from the Batman Arkham Knight/Origin.

Oh right. I forgot because they looked nowhere near as good as those pics.

I remember seeing them.
I had to stick my hand down the back of my pants and check, because I was pretty sure I must've shat on the pegs somehow.

Re: New DC 4" Figures - Holy Shit
The Cobblepot Penquin looked not bad, in a "good 5POA but still 5POA so not really that good" SW figure sorta way. The Zod figure looked cheap (bendy). I never saw Superman in real life & I have never picked up the Keaton Batman a friend has for me in Toronto. I'm a bad person. Mind you I still have many SW items sitting here for him so I'm not the only one.
