Star Wars Bookends Exclusively at Borders!

Post by Newsbot »

Gentle Giant Ltd. and Borders® are proud to release a special edition set of bookends recreating the famous Star Wars logo in classic black and silver.

"This seemed like a natural fit for us," said Gentle Giant Vice President of Product Development and Design Dev Gilmore. "Star Wars is a timeless brand with a wide range of publishing initiatives, so partnering with Borders on developing this product was an easy decision, and we're all very excited about the final product."

The bookend set is limited to only 5,000 pieces, and will be available exclusively at Borders and Borders.com. Collectors and fans will need to get to their local store early to be certain of purchasing a set.

Each set of bookends is individually hand-numbered and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. Together, the two ends measure 9.25" L x 3" W x 4.25" H. These will retail for $59.99 and are in stores now.

It's just too bad that Borders is in serious financial trouble and has closed most of their stores, isn't it?

What's a book end?

What's a book for that matter?

I looked up book on the internet. Apparently it's something you download onto your Kindle to read, but I still don't understand the "end" part. isn't the end part of Star Wars called the credits?

No wonder Arizona passed a law about Borders. Selling the end credits to Star Wars for $59.99 is something that needs to be deported.

I was curious to see what these things looked like. It is literally just the words "Star Wars". No characters, just letters. They really expect people to buy them for $60?

It's the word 'Star' on one side and 'Wars' on the other. It's gonna look awesome holding my Harry Potter books up on the shelf!!

More like "ST WA" on one side and "AR RS" on the other.

Well, that's really poor planning. That's like City Engineer level planning right thar...

Definitely a pass for $60.
