I think the light up one was light blue Saga collection circa 2002. We haven't seen one since. This 6" one is awesome - if it actually turns into a useable 3PO I'll be able to sell my single Chewie & 3PO figures to recoup some of the cost.

Just looked up that 6" Chewbacca/C-3PO. That is an amazing looking set.

$50 is a bit rough, but they'll still get me.

Saw the Frozen Han Jabba's Palace set at WM. It looks fine. I just don't think I want to spend the money on it.

It's basically 3 plastic walls. The only reason to spend the money is if you can't live without the re-vintage carded versions of Ree Yees & frozen Han that are unique to this set.

Kind of bored and surfing the internet. Ended up seeing the pictures from Toy Fair last month. I saw the retro Kenner figures last year, but passed on them. Saw the pictures of the new wave. I might get Yoda. It also reminded me that I still need to find a vintage Kenner Boba Fett. It's amazing that I had 2 of him back in 1980 and neither survived. Not exactly sure why I had 2 Boba Fetts as a kid, but I think I was convinced that the mail away figure was different from the one I got from the store.

I just got the 6" Snowspeeder Luke and two Hoth Rebel Troopers.

The Hoth Trooper is the shiznit. There are eighteen different possible head configurations, if I calculated correctly. Every army builder figure in this scale should be done the same way from now on.

May the 4th coming up & I'm not even able to describe accurately what toys are coming out, let alone my plan to obtain any of them. I guess there are a few 3.75" vintage collection figures I will need a bit later on this year (boba on skiff card, Snaggletooth, Bespin Escape Leia) but that's all I'm aware of. You guys grabbing anything good this week?

I just got all 7 of the Mandalorian retro figures, so I'm good for now.

I kind of lost interest in the modern line. Are they still making the 3.75" line? I was in Target and WM today. Between the two stores, there was three 6" figures (Hoth Luke and Han), a stuffed baby Yoda, and a few pegs full of whatever that new kiddie line is.

I’m so far removed from buying Star Wars figures, except the occasional 6” figure, but today I saw retro-neo-vintage Power of the Force carded figures.
It occurred to me more time had passed between now and the mid 90’s relaunch, than had passed between the original ‘77 vintage toys and the relaunch.
Life is weird.

Aside from 6" Jaxxon & Carnor Jax (whom Disney has disavowed yet chosen to make money off of) there was a 6" animated style Clone Wars Obi Wan figure at Toys R Us. I remember specifically purchasing him & the Anakin figure at Target in Minneapolis with Thomas when we went to visit my brother. This, upon first recall, seemed not too long ago..... it's been the better part of 15 years. :*(

Are people really losing their minds because they are no longer calling Boba Fett's ship "Slave I"? When I got the toy in 1980, I thought it was a weird name for a ship. Anyway, the people in this article are picking a really weird hill to make their stand.

I mean, you can still call it Slave-1.
It just won’t be on the package.

If anything, Disney is drawing attention to the name by not using the name.
