Found Short Round today!

Post by Diabolical »

Went to the store (Meijers) a little while ago where I saw the entire Temple of Doom wave and grabbed the only Short Round they had. Now I have the three main figures I wanted (RotLA Idol Indy, Henry Sr, and Short Round). The ToD Indly may be worth picking up.

I was shocked to see the wave because the last I read elsewhere I was under the impression that the line was canceled with the Last Crusade wave.

Now look. I know you may be tempted to send that to me and have me sign, but peace and love please please please do not send my any of your little plastic dollies to sign. Because I won't do it. I am much too busy surfing the internet for underage porn and counting my billions of dollars (more billions of £ adjusted). I am warning you with peace and love, anything you send me, like your Indiana Jones figures, will not be signed and will end up in the trash, or possibly in the boot of Consuela's Fiat. Consuela is my maid and I suspect she might sell some of my possessions on ebay to support her crack habit. She also makes amateur porn. Ahh..anyway..don't send anything. It won't be signed. Peace and love. peace and love.
peace and love. peace and love.

People were afraid that the TOD wave wouldn't make it out, but Hasbro has confirmed that it's the final wave until the next movie (meaning the next ROTLA wave with Toht, the German mechanic, etc. will not be out until then, if then).

JMG has hooked me up with Shorty and the TOD Indy since I don't live anywhere near a Meijer. That deserves a :yeaha: in my book.
Shit. I can't think of a good signature.

Holy Fuck, did the Indy line crash and burn or what?!? I think it would be decent of Hasbro to at least put Toht and the Mechanic out as an exclusive two-pack somewhere ( online. or convention.)

But hasbro is/are fucking douches of the highest order.

From what I saw, the paint jobs were terrible and couldn't justify collecting another line. Those new multi-figure packs from Raiders of the Lost Ark and Last Crusade don't look too bad.

The paint jobs are getting better; it was a problem with the first several figures since they were using a new factory and hadn't gotten all the kinks out.

For some reason, they've been saying that they won't release that wave online or anything, claiming that they would need to make too many. That really doesn't make any sense, as they make exclusive Star Wars figures all the time. And you KNOW people would pay $20 online for Toht.
Shit. I can't think of a good signature.

It has been forever since I bought anything from ebay, but I occasionally looking around the site. Somehow I ended up looking at Indiana Jones figures. Short Round is $9 (plus $3 shipping) or you can get an 11 figure lot that includes Short Round for $20 with a buy it now.

If you take the title of this thread and replace the words "Short Round" with "proof of extraterrestrial involvement in building the monuments of the ancient world," then you have proof that Machu Picchu was built by aliens! It's the only explanation you can possibly come to!
